  • This week after we decided what to do we started to drive north from the most southern point of Tasmania. We spent one night camped in Ouse before making our way to Lake St Clare.
After a quick lunch stop and some helpful info from the information centre we explored the lake a little and learnt about some points of interest between there and Strahan. We decided to camp the night next to the Derwent River.
From here we made our way to the points of interest until we continued onto Strahan.
Strahan is famous for one thing - The Gordon River - so we decided to join all the grey nomads and cruise along it in the premium section (they were the only seats left). So Strahan took all our money and before heading off we found one more free camp before making our way to Montezuma Falls.
In true Tassie west coast style it was raining and had been raining for our hike to the falls. But luckily for us it was sooooo worth it!
Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoyed it! If you did please give us a thumbs up and if you want to see more make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out on future episodes as we upload weekly

Maybe put your bathroom a little further from the river, perhaps in the wooded area. Where it is waste may end up in the river the next heavy rain or if the river rises... have a great trip and travel safe...

Love your vlog Guys ..... I see you have a white LED strip light under the canopies, a yellow LED strip light will attract less bugs at night by the way, might be worthwhile fitting one before you come up to Queensland and the Tropic. Safe travels ......

Solo Vagant it’s actually an RGB led strip this way I can change it to any colour, we usually put it to red if there is a lot of insects

Pity about the weather while on the cruise, when it's calm the Gordon river is like a mirror, would've made for some of the best footage of the whole trip

lol still got that tick from the exhaust leak.. doesnt that annoy you? would drive me crazy.. fft fft fft fft change gear fft fft fft fft. fix it, you will get better power and use less fuel.

4x4 Junkie mate I believe that it does have a tiny leak but I think the noise you might hear is the snorkel vibrating... my install was a bit dodgy I forgot to put down tape on a certain point so it vibrates so badly

@@OverlandTravellers yeh snorkel vibration isnt much to worry about but the gasket leaking between exhaust and head is a cheap and easy fix, its like a $20 gasket and abit of time, or 20 bucks + 1hr mechanic labour. it will run better too
