This was my best friend's most favorite song back when we were in high school during the mid 80s. She died in a car crash while listening to this song in 1988, while driving to a Lady Gaga concert in Phoenix, Arizona. She was voguing while driving and wasn't holding the wheel (never Vogue and drive kids). I was in the car too, but luckily I survived as my shoulder pads that I wore and my giant puffy hair were used as a cushion that saved my shoulders and head from any injuries. Sadly for my friend, she had her hair in a ponytail and insisted on wearing a regular t-shirt that day. This song brings back so many memories. One like=one prayer for my friend Please give me likes, I need to feel validated.

So I took the kids Brenda and Dylan and we moved to California. Glad you remember the ol' days

Stupid Love is catchy but the quality, subject matter (it sounds too familiar) is disapointing.

Agreed.
Love that you looped the "I don't need a reason" line at the end. It's a trademark line of the song that should have been used in the originals ending as well!!
Omg. I'm freaking out. Of all the people in 2020, you are the best in the world for creating these works of art !!!!
I was there when she debuted this song in 1986. She was opening for Erasure and, rumor had it, was dating half of Depeche Mode. She was destined for great things. Then along came grunge and she disappeared like... a ray of light.
This song sounds great with the Lady Gaga's song born this way! I sang born this way with this tune for the beginning part of born this way.
Ok but this would have been no.1 in the 80’s
If this got out in '85, it would've been a guaranteed hit!
I used to have a rare 12” picture disk of this. Great memories in the Hacienda ❤️
Didn't think this song could get MORE 80s wow
Quanta criatividade!!! Representou muito bem a gostosa nostalgia dos anos 80, parabéns ao criador dessa maravilha!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Bate cabelo 80s
Eu achei que a musica casou muito melhor com esse conceito anos 80 ... Seria foda se esse fosse o conceito do clipe. Não aquela presepada de paweranger
Com imagem meio borrada como o clipe do Bruno Mars "loking to the Haven" seria um come back bem mais impactante ... Lembrando as divas dos anos 80 . Mas enfim... O clima foi mediocre
COMO EU QUERIA TER NASCIDO NESSA EPOCA, DEVERIA SER DA HORAAAAAAAA KK
i remember skating around to this song! i would sing it all and everyday after this day. lady gaga was a legend in the skating world, too! queen of the 80’s.
this channel is so underrated i wanna cry
Gnarly song! I loved listening to this as I robe my BMX dirt bike to school on my Sony walkman. I still have the cassette tape around here...someplace
I remember when this came out, it really put Lady Gaga on the charts in 85. Shame she passed away from a drug overdose in 2001 ☹️
I don’t see her as the type that would go out like that. I would imagine her dying on stage after a fierce death drop on her 90th birthday.
Binary Void your probably right, I didn’t put much thought into it 🤪
