This is out go-to place for anniversary and birthday celebrations. They have a great salad bar. I have been getting the jumbo stuffed shrimp with fried sweet potatoes. I can eat only 2 of the shrimp. They give you 6 on a plate.
Around Thanksgiving they have the gift cards for sale. For every $ 100 card you get a $25 card. That is a gift you can enjoy all year long.
They are located on the West side of Houston off I-10 West just inside the Sam Houston Tollway. Lunch time is always crowded so get there early or early afternoon.

I was born and raised in Houston so I watch every video you make especially the buffets! The Taste of Texas is a favorite of ours. We now live out in the country about 1.5 hours from Houston. For my husband's birthday, my daughter gave him a gift box of steaks. When he saw the box, he literally jumped up and down saying "Taste of Texas!!! " I love their salad bar as well. Great video!

It's pretty cool that you could pick your own steaks out. Speaking of which, they did look super juicy and the shrimp looked really great as well! I think I saw you dip your steak in Tabasco sauce, that's a new one, that's like A1 steak sauce, to me that ruins the steak. I like to taste the flavor of the meat. Looks like everyone had a great time, that's all that matters.

Hey so do they specifically tell you that it's prime beef? Certified Angus is not the grade allot of times it's how they get around saying it's still choice grade

@@DavidSriracha the important part was you and your family had a great meal out a lot of times when you go to places like that that's really what it's about more so than the specific grade of beef but it's just something to keep in mind next time when you go to a steakhouse sometimes it's worth asking if they don't specifically tell you it's prime
