When it comes to players getting paid, future production and supply and demand are what matters. Chris is way off base with this one. You think a team like Carolina wouldn’t love to have a CeeDee Lamb right now and pay him like an elite wide receiver? At a certain point and time traits stop mattering when you’re producing like an elite #1 at the NFL level. The cowboys are dragging their feet because every team drags their feet when they need to shell out a huge amount of money.

Devonta Smith & CeeDee Lamb both ram 4.5 at their pro day. The Cowboys hardly ever use CeeDee Lamb on vertical routes. That doesn’t mean he’s incapable of running past people.

It's funny seeing people crap on Dak, but think Lamb is great. They both put up great numbers in the regular season and don't do much in the playoffs. Problem for the Cowboys is that's been true of multiple QBs and receivers over the last few decades. Maybe the Jones boys should trade themselves.

I'm confused- how many super bowl rings have the eagles won? How many superbowls have the 49ers won since the cowboys last won? How many have the ravens one? While the cowboys ownership may have issues-I don't see why they're highlighted when there's 25 other teams year in year out making the same mistakes.
Well the Raven's won the SB in 2013 against the 49ers. The 49ers went to last year's SB & lost, and they were in the NFCCG the year before and lost to the Eagles. The Eagles went to the SB 2 years ago and lost to KC; however, the Eagles went to the SB and won in 2018.
The Cowboy's have not made it past the first round in forever and they have not appeared in a SB in 28 years. 28 Years. The Lions and Brown's have come closer to a SB appearance since Dallas got to a SB.

Salary cap must be different for the Cowboys than the rest of the other 31 teams.
They've been in cap hell for years now. That's why they let go of guys like Coop and Zeke. It's why they're playing out Dak's contract because they've been kicking the can down the road with void years and they have to sit tight to fix their cap situation
