Special thanks to Scott Manley for helping us all out, and letting me use some media pf his own.

As luck would have it today I don't have headphones, so I will have to make a trip to the store to buy a pair before watching this.
I am sure it will be amazing, mostly because it's by Nassault, but partly because I'm biased. I admit it, I'm biased, but, that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

So living in the Seattle area and working on a dock. I've met Bill Gates and Paul Allen, I've met the owners or Starbucks, Amazon. I've met Kierra Knightly, I've met celebrity chefs, up coming TV series hosts and they've never really phased me... but I would scream like a little girl if I ever met Scott Manley.

Manley Kerman realizes Scott Manley exists and that he's in Kerbal Space Program.
    Humans play Kerbal Space Program.
Dave Bowman realized that Aliens play Human Space Program.
    Im mindblown.
Also Manley should said at the end "My god, it's full of bugs!"

This is actually a pretty good study of Kubrik's style, which is less than obvious. The subject focused frames that linger are especially convincing. (Kubrik did this because he was a still photographer first.) This isn't just adding 2001's music as a backdrop; this is a fully realized composition in Kubrik's style. There's more here than just another well-produced KSP video. This is cinematography.

It's a mixture of movies. First there's the general silence of space Odyssey, then we've got the dramatic entry sequence of Gravity when the ship enters Joel and starts breaking, then we've got the entering a new dimension LSD sequence that looks like Interstellar wormhole traveling sequence. This is a masterpiece

This is one of the most beautiful pieces I've seen in a long time. Nassault, your videos are so inspiring. Not just because they're amazing in their own right, but also because they evoke a powerful longing to keep reaching…to pick back up where we left off in the "golden age" of space exploration…to strive to become more than we are.
Thank you for this. Please keep doing what you're doing. Just maybe our coming generation can be inspired to reach again….

Furiouslonewolf12 Being bettef than the movie isn't very hard. The effects are beyond spectacular especially for their time, but lack of narrative , good characters and development make it not the best.A few scenes with interesting symbolism isn't enough to float a movie. If I had seen it back in 1968 I'd probably love it because of how new the effect were, but now it's boring, pretentious, and nothing special. I must respect it for what it has done for cinema, but I really wish people would stop praising it as "The perfect scifi", or "Flawless masterpiece".

That was really cool and nice of you to do!
Scott and KSP have definitely brought the reality of physics and gravity to thousands and thousands of people who had barely any more experience relating to it than maybe watching the movie Apollo13.
And although the (likely intentionally) remote and gradual feeling I get from its rambling a bit in "setting the mood" (frequent, expansive, panning visuals with ambient audio), I think it's still a very very good looking, and high quality piece of work. And I'd be proud if I were The Manley to claim responsibility for its inspiration
    =)
Thanks for another really cool KSP vid Nassault! 'Can't wait to see more!
    As always, they're like KSP-beauty-concentrate.

But...Smart A.S.S is an _actual_ thing inside the MechJeb mod.
      It's a pun on S.A.S.

So that's what the signal Shaun is investigating in Scott's Interstellar Quest.
Great video with brilliant effects and an excellent twist at the end. Worth a watch if you want to learn the secrets of where you come from (if your a Kerbal).

this video made me build spaceship to fly inside gass planet, it was long attempts but i finally did it and send full crew of 5 kerbals but as ship approached planet it run out of fuel, ship had only 4 rocket pods so 2 left at ship research station while rest fly into orbit while main ship on escape of gravity well but they managed do all research and by now stranded in deep space without any fuel, 3 rocket pods where launched with 1 kerbal on each so i send one into gass planet for exploration, what i find out was facanating but kerbal didn't survived and the remaining 2 kerbal still flying in orbit, waiting to pick them up...
Gass planet is empty, there is nothing inside but extremly strong gravity that will crash anything what it touches, you could see space from inside of planet, in overall expedition was not big failure neither success but now i know more about that planet with cost of 1 kerbal life and 4 lost in space...

That sounds about right, I let Mechjeb auto land my lander and all seemed well till the end. Despite landing at 11ms it somehow caused the entire thing to blow up! Did a manual landing and it was fine. O.o I think the machines are already trying to eliminate us starting with our Kerbals!

Its hard to think of the words to describe it when all one could say about it is, its brilliant and amazing. Well done once again. Amazing work :)
