Hey everyone! Happy new years and thanks again for 20,000 subscribers 😮 now 21,000 which is crazy! 🤙 thanks for all the love on the channel in 2024, *many many* more builds to come this year 😂 will do a video next week of some of the bikes I have stashed away to see what you’d like to see first 😎🤙 cheers!
Haha it still looks tiny to me 17:50 😂 just a weird perk of being tall, it feels huge though! Thanks heaps 🤙 will do! Can’t wait for some of the builds coming up, it’s so hard to prioritise them 😖
Thank you! Oh awesome, greetings! We’ve had some rain lately but most days are pretty mild, it’s an awesome climate in Auckland so can ride year round even through the rainy times 😁🤙
Ooh jealous you have a green and purple one! Awesome find, should look great with the black and tan setup 👍 you’re welcome, thanks for checking it out! Happy riding 🤙
Sure is! Really cool looking, love how some of it is sharp angles and they incorporated curves so well too 👌 really beautiful frame, the fork worked out too well too!haha Thank you 🤙
Oooh, love a Voodoo! Not many but there are a few around here. SS is heaps of fun, less to think of just pedal and turn 😍 thanks heaps, really love the SS setup on this 🤙
I was unsure about the frame and colours to use on it at first, so spent a while mocking it up different ways but really happy with the outcome! Glad you think so too, cheers heaps 🤙
Thank you! Yeah I’ve heard they’ve strayed a bit now, have they stopped doing a steel Inbred? 🥲 feel like it was on of their most popular or sought after bikes! They have a bit of a following here, too! Friend has one with 27.5 wheels and someone else has a rigid 26” one. Really cool frames 😎👌
@toastyrides there hasn't been an Inbred for a few years now. Last one was 2018 I think. They've done quite a few other steel and titanium hardtails since, mostly centred around really progressive "hardcore hardtail" geometry. On One and their parent company Planet X have been a mainstay of the UK bike industry for many years, but unfortunately we're bought out by an investment company in 2023 and have lost their way a bit now
My first thought was that its kind of an off road cruiser. So its a bit of back to the roots because the first MTB were made with these US cruiser frames also in single speed. This 29er suits you so much better. But when you ride the 26er its mostly test ride I think.
That’s exactly what I was going for! Really happy with it, nice cruisy thing that can handle a bit of off-road nicely. Was contemplating a dropper post but chose against it. Yeah for some reason it still looks small under me, but it feels huge! I ride 26 most of the time, commute and do some big rides on em. Cheers 🤙
They are! Didn’t come with the brake blocks though, but really cool option. Unsure if it’ll be for 26/27.5 but one of the two, maybe even all 3 if the brake blocks have a few different holes for the posts! Could probably make some up with a block of aluminium, would look more oldschool for sure. Cheers!
Crazy nice ride 😁🤙 Got to be flat-ish for a single speed to work as a commuter? (nice to see you put so much time into the videos, cause moving those camera's around for e 2-sec. clip takes time!) 😅🔥
Thank you 🤙 nowhere in NZ is that flat haha, 150m elevation to work and that’s going around the hills. Just gotta pick a decent ratio for whatever you’re riding and never be in the right gear 😂 Thank you! Appreciate the kind words 🤙 it takes a reaaallly long time to get all the clips, and tripping over the tripod 😂
Damn that’s a tough choice! I’d probably pick the RockCombo, probably the most capable world tour option. Though a Brompton (if I had one) would be better to travel with. And the Clyde fork Specialized would be awesome, too Thanks for checking it out! 🤙
Thank you! 🤙 yeah I don’t keep them all, most of the bikes don’t sell for much $$ here. It does help offset the build cost as well as the UA-cam revenue. I try keep the fun ones for as long as I can 😄
Hi Toasty, just wondering if you know anything about the MTB brand “Extreme” I have a full suspension bike from my late father and have been trying to find information about it online but nothing comes up. Any info would be much appreciated!

Finally! A bike that doesn't look tiny on you! Haha 😂 just messing with ya. Sweet build. Keep up the great work!!🙌
Haha it still looks tiny to me 17:50 😂 just a weird perk of being tall, it feels huge though! Thanks heaps 🤙 will do! Can’t wait for some of the builds coming up, it’s so hard to prioritise them 😖
The fork looks like it came with the bike, that's such a clean build👍
Haha I couldn’t have planned it better, it worked out so well! Thanks heaps
I love this bike! Clean and fun build. Love the SingleSpeed!!!
Thank you! 🙌 really happy with the Singlespeed setup, the push-up spring on the Surly tensioner makes it super clean 👌
The double removable dropouts go crazy! Beautiful build king.
I’m in love with this bike. It’s perfection! ❤The colors, geometry, etc. Super cool.
That’s awesome to hear 😎🤙 if you were local I’d let ya take it for a rip 😄 it’s heaps of fun!
That's a great looking frame luv the slope on the top tube
Great way to start the NY 👍🇦🇺
Really cool looking frames these, I love the curvy rear end too 👌 cheers from across the ditch and happy new year! 🤙
I got home from a ride on my steel single speed mtb and get to see you build one, great day. 😁
Haha no way! Awesome timing, what was your steel SS bike?! Happy riding! 🤙
@toastyrides 2023 kona unit, all blinged out with no original parts except for tires and saddle.
Nice build. Congratulations on the 20k. Your builds are interesting regardless the style, but old school paint and multi-purpose builds are inspiring
Great build! I'm watching from the other side of the world and it's nice to see that summer still exists somewhere ☀️
Thank you! Oh awesome, greetings! We’ve had some rain lately but most days are pretty mild, it’s an awesome climate in Auckland so can ride year round even through the rainy times 😁🤙
The green frameset with the tan-wall tires, brown pedals, saddle, and grips looks awesome!
love the black and tan. will look great on my purple/green 720 multitrack. thanks for the inspo👍
Ooh jealous you have a green and purple one! Awesome find, should look great with the black and tan setup 👍 you’re welcome, thanks for checking it out! Happy riding 🤙
Cool selection of parts. Turned out sweet looking
Cheers! 🤙 nice dose of bmx parts with some practical and classy things splattered in. Thank you 🙌
Good looking bike! The way they segment the frame is very old school/custom looking😍 Fork is perfect 👌
Sure is! Really cool looking, love how some of it is sharp angles and they incorporated curves so well too 👌 really beautiful frame, the fork worked out too well too!haha
Thank you 🤙
Sweet little build for the new year! Thanks again and Happy New Year!
that bike works so well in that terrain
20:11 i like your build style, just keep building bike, thank you, cheers 😄👌
Thank you! Glad you’re liking it 🤙 Will do 😎
Awesome bike man, good call on only using the blue on the chain ring, looks killer.
Nice build ! My Voodoo Soukri also has canti mounts. And, a DR hanger. It's set up SS for the moment. SS is so fun ! (When you're fit)
Oooh, love a Voodoo! Not many but there are a few around here. SS is heaps of fun, less to think of just pedal and turn 😍 thanks heaps, really love the SS setup on this 🤙
Another none done well Adam! 👏 Would love to find an On-One frame some day.
beautiful, love the surly bars and the frame is super cool 👍
Thanks! Yeah so glad they came out with them, really nice backsweep and angles to it. Plus the crossbar looks sweet on these too 👌
Great build Toasty! Keep it up ❤
Thanks heaps, Mark! 🤙
Cool looking bike. Love the fork. Happy New Year from Canada!
I like your careful handling of the frames.👍
Thanks! 🤙 gotta keep them in recirculation for others to enjoy 🥹
Its a good day when toasty uploads. Cheers
Glad to have bought a good day your way 👍 thanks for watching!
good looking build reminds me of a surly bike
Thank you! Reminds me more of an old Orange but I guess it’s steel like Surly yah 🤙
Those colors shouldn’t work together, but they do! Nice work.
I was unsure about the frame and colours to use on it at first, so spent a while mocking it up different ways but really happy with the outcome! Glad you think so too, cheers heaps 🤙
Gorgeous build. On One are not what they used to be, sadly. I'm from Yorkshire myself, and the Inbread is legendary round these parts though 🤙

Great bike my friend!!!
Thanks, Peter! Really wanted an OnOne 👌
Looks fun af!
Really cool bike .it looks great keep up the good work 👌🤘
Thanks heaps! 🤙 really happy with the look of this one, stoked as! Will do 🫡
nice surly grappler 😛
Haha it’s the same colour! 😮 but head tube is a third of the size so doesn’t look like a Kona Dew 😂
Are those double canti bosses on the back so you can run different wheel sizes? 29er or 26? Love the build🔥
They are! Didn’t come with the brake blocks though, but really cool option. Unsure if it’ll be for 26/27.5 but one of the two, maybe even all 3 if the brake blocks have a few different holes for the posts! Could probably make some up with a block of aluminium, would look more oldschool for sure.

That’s what I was looking at too. It’s always good to have options to put on whatever wheels you have
Road bike person here!
Awesome! 😄🤙 I can’t wait for a couple of the road builds I have coming up, wish me luck! 😎
It's Só nice ❤ I love ...
Crazy nice ride 😁🤙

thanks man, what bike would you do your lottery win World tour on? great vid
Damn that’s a tough choice! I’d probably pick the RockCombo, probably the most capable world tour option. Though a Brompton (if I had one) would be better to travel with. And the Clyde fork Specialized would be awesome, too
Thanks for checking it out! 🤙
@@toastyrides nice, have a great 2025
it's the best bike in the world
Gotta love an Inbred 👌 super capable and versatile bikes, have seen them set up so many ways!
Cool build as always. one question, how do you get the money for all these bikes? do you sell em locally after finishing?
Thank you! 🤙 yeah I don’t keep them all, most of the bikes don’t sell for much $$ here. It does help offset the build cost as well as the UA-cam revenue. I try keep the fun ones for as long as I can 😄
Great, what was the gearing? 32 on the front 19 on the back?
38:19 at the moment but think I’ll go a bit lower to 38:20. Started with 38:22 but was too low, although would be good for off-road only use 👌
❤❤❤
Thanks for popping in mate! 🎉 happy new year 🤙
@toastyrides Happy New Year.
Hi Toasty, just wondering if you know anything about the MTB brand “Extreme” I have a full suspension bike from my late father and have been trying to find information about it online but nothing comes up. Any info would be much appreciated!
I still commute on mine. The paint was very thin on inbreds
You don't run MOTO brakes?! Your back brake is on the right hand side.
On one ---> no one
Dude! If you were any more chilled out, global warming would be old news!
Hahaha thank you! 😂🤙
Damn the painted toe nails are pretty cringe bro ngl the bike's cool though
LOVE IT!
