    One of the main reasons why people lose their groove, or lose motivation in their hustle or whatever they are trying to pursue is because they don't spend enough time in solitude. No hippie talk here, but you need to spend time alone, so you can be exposed to yourself. It is very important for self-awareness and growth in general as a human being. All the greats from the past spent a significant time in solitude. I love this airbnb method! Going to try it next month for a weekend! Much love and respect to Gary V!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

      True. Hustle is the worst thing if is not in the thing that you really want. Most people dont even know what they like or want. They like or want what others want.
      The best way is really seclusion. Going to a florest and see how amazing is the world, feeling what is inside. No others opinions during that time.

    This is so beautifully timed! I know this is an old video, but UA-cam showed it to me today and as I write this, I am sitting in isolation (just me and kitty) in a remote, secluded Airbnb, with no vehicle, facing fears, transforming, redesigning my fate, planning my dream and dreaming my plan! Thank you for that really cool synchronicity, and confirmation that I’m on track! You are such an inspiration! Damn I love being in connection!🌜❤️‍🔥🌛

    Been feeling like this for quite some time, funny thing is I always got a solution for someone else's problems. Spending quality "thinking" time with myself is definitely needed!

    I definitely resonate with this video and what you're saying Gary. This year has been by far the hardest year in my entire life at age of 30 now. I discovered that talking to ur self and going deep definitely helps and I do it almost automatically now whenever I'm upset or not feeling well. Being tired definitely affects u too, u get burnt out by the same process and lose ur motivation cause u question if ur path is worth it anymore as u get older. Great video

    Thank you for this video!!!
    I was feeling like I was loosing my passion a while back.. I figured out I was spending too much time on non creative things.. I'm a hip hop artist.. and I currently manage myself.. so I took Gary's advice about putting out more content and started doing a daily post on Instagram where I spit a new verse everyday.. so I end each night writing .. which has become a great way to keep my writing skills sharp and have fun again.. plus it's a challenge to be consistent which I love also.. and these videos are creating traction..

    I fucking relate to this shit... Gary over here like "just do it.. go!" .. I skipped school a bit because my sleep schedule changed .. negative family or friends triggered a lot of thingsz so drop that shit making you feel down, & workout.. call a few hunnies and get back to the work asap folks.. don't stop learning folks just cause the paradigm in the system not for you!

    • @prodtomzy
      @prodtomzy 7 років тому +2

      Exactly. My distraction was getting involved with negative people to the point I became negative myself unknowingly and therefore felt like I don't need to try anymore.I cut those people out of my life now I recovered and am back on my grind. I can't stress enough how big of an impact and influence your friends have on you subconsciously.

    I feel like I'm passionate about what I'm doing and studying but I'm not a fan of myself, I'm like a critic that hates videogames doing reviews on just that. Well I'm only as harsh on my own work, everyone I'm looking at for inspiration are creating masterpieces, working 20 times more efficiently.
    People say that you'll get there eventually but it feels like something has to happen for that work mentality to click. How does someone get into the mentality to work 17 hours a day and when he/she wakes up the first thing they do is picking up their tools to get back to work? So I'm subconscious setting myself up to fail, overcomplicating all of my assignments to force myself into a float or sink situations where i'm stuck in college working 12 hours each day including the weekend but I still feel like I'm slacking.
    The way I am forcing myself out of my comfort zone, working with a timetable doesn't work anymore, because I'm still too slow to reach my own deadlines, which makes the situation all the better. I don't know where I should balance everything out, between trying new things and playing safe. Is there a right place to be? should I continue forcing myself into impossible situations, where I'm definitely going to fail 19 out of 20 times? or is there a better approach?

    • @hugoantunesartwithblender
      @hugoantunesartwithblender 6 років тому +6

      Bass Mentor You are not good at math because you are using the wrong motivation. You do maths because you are obligated to do it.
      Instead go see what maths can do. You can calculate where planets can be in one year. You have a really good advantage in business. I love physics now because now I know what that knowledge can do.
      Also be competitive. Not in a bad way, but try to be the best student of math in your school. Make that your objective. Then you feel more motivation to learn more and more fast

    What do I do when the hustle overwhelms me? I'm not putting in the 14+ hours a day that Gary puts in, yet I still feel exhausted. I feel ashamed that I enjoy FIFA more than working that extra 6+ hours a day. How do I start to enjoy the hustle more than all the unproductive shit that I love?

      Its because you LOVE the videogames but not the WORK you're putting into SOMETHING...That SOMETHING should be something that you love.for example many football players or sports players became the world players because they love to play the game.In this case you just have to find the type of work you'd love to do, or you cant last longer on it.

      I think that the word "hustling" is bulshit. If you found what you really like you dont feel like hustling.
