Compared to most places it's anything but that. Granted, it's not the '60's or '70's, but it still has a lot to offer. Where would you rather live? And why don't you move there? Many of the problems here are also in most other cities, only worse, much worse. You want magic, make some of your own and stop being a "Grumpy OldFart".
