Skiing my birth country was the memory of a lifetime. Seeing my brown people shred the mountain brought me so much pride. Eating Indian food at lunch after skiing all morning beat any overpriced pizza/butger/fries I’ve ever had at the lodge. Skied the world over. Patrol at my home resort but skiing Gulmarg was on another level for me.
I have met 100's of snowboarders across the globe in last 10 to 12 years but shredding with team team was great experience lots of Love and respect Kevin,Ishan,Nirav and Yanick .
As Gulmarg is cheaper than Japan, US, Canada, and Europe for skiing and hotels, how would you rate your experience of snowboarding here compared to those places, out of 10?
Wow that's crazy. I visited Rohtang valley, India way back in 2007 for some skiing, but it wasn't even half as good as this. This is epic and at a completely diff level!! Got to try it next year.
Rohtang is cold. Colder than Kashmir but doesn't get as much snow and neither has the type of slopes that suit snowboarding or skiing. A lot of places in Indian subcontinent get snow but Kashmir is the only place where it happens over a large area that too regularly. Not all cold or snowy places are the same. Gulmarg is unfortunately the only hill station developed with facilities for it. The are many others that can be developed here.
Yoooo! I missed you by a few days! If you’re still there, hike up Shark’s Fin. You get access to incredible lines and get amazing view of the 9 the tallest mountain in the world: Nanga Parbat. You can see the Nanga Parbat in this video too! :D
I'm upset that you promised to record an hour-long video but it's only 10 min. That feels 10hrs therapy without knowing anything about snowboarding. much love from India 💙💙
Kevin and high altitude snowboarding is synonymous like fat kids and candy. Love the chill vibe in this one. We need a live chat from india (network pending) Edit: you leave us hanging on a pow day!?!?!?!? Thats just cruel
This was amazing! I hope you make some more videos about your experience in India ❤ how much snow do they usually get there? Even at the top there are bare spots so I’m wondering if this was a bad year for snow or if this is normal 🙏
Yes gulmarg got late snow this year Coming to rocks U have no idea how hufetthe rocks are there these are like little hills having height of 15 to 20 feet Gulmarg base on average gets 5 to 6 meters of snow per winter Whereas the top gets 14 meters of snow There was a huge storm recently there Gulmarg bowl got 1.3 meters snow and mounting top got around 3 to 4 meters. Hope it helps
I like to watch your videos. Thanks a lot for showing that India has ski/snowboarding . How is the quality of snow? gondola's? Is it at par with international standards?
@@user-wu4ip7mp3zthey have enough experience I would say way better than other ski resort But they manage only one bowl It is quite difficult to manage such huge areas As gulmarg has hundreds of such bowls Skier which died has got in another bowl which is not ski patrolled. 😊

SPC flipped the script this season while half the world seems to visit Japan... Kevin spotlights India. :)

Was the best times shredding with you all !
Looks like endless terrain, so cool to see. But the Indian patrol dogs seem to not care less, even for cookies haha
The dogs are quite timid around people
never knew snowboarding in India was a thing. definitely putting that on bucket list. What's your thought on the Clew bindings?
The Clews are great! Super convenient because it’s a step in/out system with straps
Production quality is incredible on this one! The mix of angles, follow, selfie, capturing local flare, music ... Stellar entertainment!

Wow I remember watching your vídeos at the beginning of the channel, now it's a distinguished advance, congrats.
Thank you very much!
Bro you captured Gulmarg way better than most Indian cinematographers while having fun. it's my dream to ski in Gulmarg.

Lol, he really said Wasim Akram😂
I heard there’s an avanlanche there. Are you okay????
Yes there was an avalanche. Very fortunate that I wasn’t in that area.
Looks amazing
I would love to ride here one day. Sadly India won’t let me in bcuz I was born in Pakistan. One day 🤞
Sorry to hear that. Both countries have amazing mountains and hopefully one day borders will open for all to enjoy
Karma for sending Jihadis. But India still grants medical visas for Pakistanis.
Not possible @@Shred1904

Today an avalanche 😢
Yea I listened, few people got stuck
I fear the ski patrol of this place does not have sufficient avy control experience. It's literally a lift up into the BC.
