Salam aleykum i noticed, that in 8:25 when you mentioned the verse in the Quran about being good to your parents, you quoted Surah Luqman : 36, but this Verse is from Surah an Nisa. May Allah bless you for your efforts and this beautiful lecture.

Whenever I would please anyone outside of me I would be unhappy. Pleasing your parents shouldn’t mean being fake and a hypocrite. If you can’t communicate honestly with your parents and express how you feel, this is not a good sign and God isn’t happy with that. It depends on what do you mean with “make your parents happy”. I’m okay with helping them in the house and respecting them.

Question: Is it like you making your parents angry with your actions or also if your parents are just angry because the have a bad day and they are automatically also angry with you? I am really scared now because they‘re often angry what should I do? It hurts me and Im scared that Allah is angry with me.. Its really so hard idk what to do my father is a narcissist and its literally impossible to make him happy. And my mom is in a bad mood most of the time. And if they are like this, Im automatically also in a kinda bad mood. I try to be respectful but still.. And I feel like my dad tries to piss me off a lot of time. Like he does that and then he tells his family about us and says how bad we are. Im really confused what should I even do at this point. I didnt even talk about my past because Im trying to forget that but I feel like I can never be a good child. And I genuinely dont want the anger of Allah.

Try being extra nice with them. Start with building the habit of saying I love you to your mom and dad.
I know for some people this is literally harder than maybe picking up a mountain.
But try doing it. I did it. Believe me it was one of the most hardest things I ever did.
Send message to them when they are not in front of you saying you love them and say thanks for the food and stuff.
Trust me it will start becoming easier day by day.
Do it for 30 days. Trust Allah.

Brother, just a kind word of advice, your thumbnail has a woman wearing a see-through veil. It’s haram as it’s a type of tabarruj, even if we can’t see her face we can see her hair and outline. I’d advise you honestly to just not use women at all in your thumbnails and vids. As Muslims we care about protecting our women from the gazes of men. Not just their faces but even their hair or outline. Remember the sahabiyyat used to even cover their hands, and not even let a fingernail be shown

Bro could you talk about you young Muslim men who dont do Haram relationships, do not masturbate or watch porn, and struggles to get married. It just gets harder and harder to find pious wife in the west. We always pray to Allah to make it happen, but what serious steps should we take to get married?

    The Prophet (5) said thrice,
"Should I inform vou out the
greatest of the great sins?" They said,'
    "Yes, O Allah's
Messenger («#)!" He said, "To join others in worship with Allah and to be undutiful to one's parents." The Prophet (ats) then sat up after he had been reclining (on a pillow) and said, "And I warn you against giving a false witness, and he kept on saying that warning till we thought he would not stop. this is a question im not able to get an answer for
my parents dont respect me, they favor my siblings over me, they dont take me seriously. even when im talking about serious topics.
im gonna get kinda personal and tell you what happened
during a gathering there were 2 nannies watching me while i take care of the babies and then my families nanny called me over while she was with one other nanny and then our nanny started touching me and told the other nanny that she could too
i slapped their hands away and walked away but once i told my mom she told me “well that was in the past i cant do anything about it now” even tho i told her only a couple hours after it happened
and that nanny has also tried murdering me and has stolen from me
ive told my parents and they still wont fire her, and now im concerned for my younger brother. literally today when my 9 year old brother was getting ready for school i put his clothes in my room so he could change in private then our nanny followed him into the room. i went over to them and told her that he knows how to change on his own and that she doesnt need to be in there and yet she just closed the door of my own room in my face
and my brother said she doesnt even help him change she just watches him.
my parents arent taking me seriously even about this topic and they dont respect me at all. thats why ive grown hatred and resentment towards them. and i plan on cutting off contact with them once i get married
    is it still haram?
(THANK YOU FOR READING ALL THIS OMG ITS A LOT)

I know this is not intended for me but i will still answer because i also go through similar stuff.
Allah (swt) regards parents and basically, all relatives that you share blood with (tight blood) as extremely important. We can't ignore our blood however we can protect ouselves by keeping some distance from them i recommend you to at least wish them Eid Mubarak during the Eid. If you're willing to do more for them solely for the sake of Allah(swt) then i wish you ease and inner peace in doing these actions. We still have the duty to respect them no matter how awful their behaviors toward us are since this is between them and Allah(swt).
The Almighty says "Do not be afraid; i'am with you all the time, listening and seeing." Quran 20 : 46
Don't forget that we are judged upon our actions not our feelings !
May Allah(swt) make it easy for you inshallah.

@@bro144 my blood mother abandoned me when i was young but my non-blood-related aunt took me in and raised me. are you saying i'm expected to put more priority into the parent that abandoned me than the one who raised me just because of blood?

    • @bro144
      @bro144 3 місяці тому

@env0x That's another case, when you are adopted you must be treated well by your current parents but your biological parents will have to face Allah(swt) for what they did to you. Allah(swt) is the best of Judges and he sees what we go through every day.
