Amazing trip right there! I'm pretty sure I know that spot. Fished it a couple times in February but never did get into the schooling stripers. Talked to a guy that boated a dozen one evening when I was down though.

Topwater lures are lucky Craft Gunfish 117&95 ( ghost minnow). Crankbait is LV 500, also Lucky Craft ( American Shad). Most Lipless Crankbaits with some shine/chrome will work.

Some people love the way taste. I keep a few and smoke them and make smoked fish dip. Sorry for the late response.
