  • This is one of the pinnacles of automotive design in the post war era. It looks like a chopped and channeled custom right out of the factory! Known as the step down design the floors are dropped down around the frame. The grill was low and wide, roof line was low. It looks sleak and fast even sitting still.
    This one is a great example. Restored 5 years ago by one the the most respected Hudson restorers- Dr Doug (Doug Wildrick of Wildrick Restorations).

    My Hudson, 1952 Wasp, was restored by Doug Wildrick--top notch work! You should have no trouble selling that '50 Commodore. I'm sharing this to the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club Facebook page.

    The gears sound funny. Either the differential is low on oil, or the transmission has a bad bearing. Or maybe I'm wrong and it's normal to hear the gears like that on one of these cars.
