Thanks for nice method to make permanent plug. For quick testing (for repairing a laptop for example), you can make a temporary plug using snips of tin can bent into an arc (dosn't need to be full circle, just an arc to make contact) and a straightened paper clip or piece of bare copper wire. Fit the pieces in the laptop power jack and then put some hot glue in between, and you can power the laptop using any appropriate DC power brick

Good idea, to bad it want work. Positive isn’t the middle pin, but outer layer of the inner ring. Basically, you are shorting positive and negative of charger port

Haha this is not as described in info on video... 1 you did not make 1 you used and existing charger and made another fitting basicly... home made charger i wanted to see you make 1 not just use a charger 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ 14 minutes wasted could just put positive wire inside a pen lid negative on outside plug it into the port you can cut end to fit better use electrical tape keep wires and pen lid together simply plug into laptop sorted pen lids come in all sizes find your size make sure plenty wire on inside of pen for good connection and also make sure lid fits outside if not use alittle tinfoil over negative wire wrap around outside of pen lid plug in so snug fit sorted 😊
