To be fair, a lot of that variance is Graham being taller than usual that Jacob being smaller. See: all the things Graham hit is head on when he and and Kathleen took that trip to Japan before Penelope was born.

This is just like, really unnerving to watch. I'm getting anxiety just seeing SO many people unmasked, indoors, and not-distanced, just crowded all together. It's both a nice throwback, and also completely alarming somehow.
yeah, today was the day I discovered that, while watching videos I know were made in 2019 or earlier inspires only nostalgia for the Before Times, watching videos made between the discovery of COVID and the start of the shutdown ping my anxiety all over the place. Standing within reach of strangers? Sharing food? I really hope somebody wiped down that shovel.
Hard same. While its nice to look back at the old times, its also wondrous how we're not all dead now either. I'm reminded of the vacation trip my wife and I took in Feb. 2020 to Chicago. Drove there for Valentine's weekend, from Detroit. Stayed in a hotel, ate in several nice restaurants, shopped at wonderful nerd places, and had a great time. I simultaneously fear things will never return to such a way, and hope that they do.
@@houseofshadow6380 yeah, in early March a high school friend and I went on a yarn crawl in Portland, and then I came home and everything shut down almost immediately. It was a wonderful way to spend my last weekend of freedom, and I get so mad when I hear late-night parties in my neighborhood and see people on the bus not wearing their masks right, because these are the people whose terrible decision-making has taken my life away and I want so badly to be able to do something about it.
@@MaraK_dialmformara Totally hear you, it's like we're at the mercy of the incompetent or something, just waiting for the stupidest elements of society to get their act together and be responsible enough to stop the spread like the rest of us who have put our lives entirely on hold for like a year now.
The Monster Hunter party makes me want to go out and get back to conventions ASAP. Looked like so much fun. Thanks for chronicling these before-times, Graham!
Jen has become the highlight of the pax vlogs. Anyhoo great vlogs as per usual. Thank you graham for allowing me to vicariously experience these cons. Regards
Oh no! Why did they take your table? That's awful! Weird behavior like that is one of the many reasons (pre covid, naturally) I avoid events like that. But. Yinz seemed to be otherwise OK. Thank you for sharing this video.
That party looked insane. I don't play the franchise, either, but that looked fun af to be part of :D I miss parties... I'm hoping 2021 brings things like cons and gaming tournaments back, once it's safer to do so

@@GrahamStarkVlogs The first one I hear in this video is at 21 seconds after you say "saturday". They're not very loud, but they're throughout all these pax east videos. Little blips or pops like a vinyl pop sound. Another one at 1:35 after you say "gamer fuel tm". Another at 1:41 and a more obvious one at 1:46 when you say "music man (pop) reference". I've confirmed it on my laptop and phone with and without headphones so I don't think it's my equipment malfunctioning. They continue through the whole video but hopefully you'll be able to hear those first few and figure it out. I think you're a great vlogger and love watching your stuff, so I hope I'm not annoying. Just trying to fix any bugs to make things better in the future. Maybe record in a quiet room for a minute and listen back and see if you hear anything. It could also just be the camera creaking or something when you're walking, as you're constantly moving when you're vlogging.
"I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT THAT WAS AWESOME"
Man I love Jacobs bottomless enthusiasm.
Graham: "My voice has mostly returned"
Me: "THE MOXIE WORKED!"
Love the jump from "CORVID" to Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet.
Being used to seeing LRR folk when they're sitting, it trips me up every time I see Jacob looking so smol compared to Graham.
Relative size is so hard to determine seated!

When Ben said that Grammeowster Chef was upstairs, my face was very much akin to Graham's! XD She's so cute!
Graham: "And now we leave Jacob"
Cut to ditching Jacob on the side of the road.

Gettum Pat!
This was nice. Suprise Jacob was also great.
These are really relaxing to watch at the end of a workday ^^
Can I just say. Jen is the best. Every time she's on any of the videos, she's always smiling, laughing, and happy. GO JEN
I am but an awkward vessel that delivers snacks in the LLR universe. ♥️

ah ben talking about Baccano I see
Ah yes "corvid"
aka the crow-navirus
Gotta love that corvid 1.9
Graham sitting on a giant one of those immediately after really puts the cherry on top.
Or a "Graham on top", as the case may be.
these vlogs have been quite the view into the before times

Very happy to see Jen pop up again. She's wonderful!
in the half beat before you said it, even I had to say aloud, "You name everything Kevin"
Am I daft, or does 'whoever downs the monster first' sound like a energy drink drinking contest?

I’m glad I’m not the only one that was a bit confused there xD

i adore your vlogs! they are all awesome.
Awesome content, I always like watching the PAX vlogs.
party at the Royale looks fun. I've been there for music shows and comedy tapings.
I saw you and Ben walking around this day but I didn’t want to interrupt because you seemed to be going somewhere wow you’re tall
I got really into Monster Hunter last year for quarantine reasons, so this was pretty neat to see.
Thanks for the Gvlogs G!

4:12 that guy next to be looks like jocat
7:00 Graham, be honest, are you a psychic warrior? I said exactly that to myself almost overlapping you and it freaked me the hell out.
Naw, he's clearly more of a Soulknife.
Jacob reacting at 6:13 takes the cake for me
Ah dang, I didn't know Jacob was going to be there. I would have like to have met him.
New side quest: Table Hunter!
Ah carefully remembering the cup

not a mental image I wanted today, thanks
I always introduced people to Baccano! by linking them to the vid of Ladd giving his boxing speech.
I miss in person things.
Owh pog dude, i was just refreshing my youtube
I didn't know how much I missed conventions!!!!
ravens are serious business.
i was NOT ready to hear gerard way on 2:30 where did that come from
Was that Kamen Rider Decade cosplay at like 1:12? EW no Coca Cola or water. I'll just drink a crab juice if I ever go to PAX then.
There have been weird audio pops throughout this pax trip. Not sure the cause just letting you know to hopefully fix in the future.
Do you have a time stamp handy? I didn’t notice anything. Oh no!

"Corvid" aside, I'm bothered by what appears to be a man taking a huff of vape behind Graham at 2:53
Huh? Graham is a head taller compared to Jacob?
Why no masks
