Thanks for being so helpful and informative over the course of this, I've done the medical and sent off for my provisional a month ago but still waiting for it (DVA in northern Ireland are slower than Swansea) just sent the application for my tacograph card yesterday also. I'll be ready for the theory test as soon as I can book it... just need to wait on DVA to allow me to choose the LGV test option online once they process my provisional application, any day now!
Wow Talk about taking the mick! Best of luck mate! The theory test is the hardest of the lot. All the others after are easy. Make sure you get stuck in to loads of theory revision. Mock tests online and all that good stuff! Keep me informed how you are getting on bud!
@@Deady2012 Hey man that's my theory tests and CPC module 1 booked for 2 weeks time, wont start my practical lessons till that's done and dusted as I'm still saving up £. I don't really want to be starting to drive a lorry coming into the dark winter days anyway but by spring 2020 I hope to pack in my factory job and get out on the road if I can.

As for the dark days... You'll either do your training in the dark or start your first job in the dark lol. Most driving jobs you'll be starting around 4-6am anyway. Probably better off not worrying about the dark and just getting it done bud. Good luck though, keep me updated if you will.

You mentioned in the comments they give you the answers, in my PCV mod 4 we had daily practices with random questions but we were given no help on the test. You also mentioned if they say 'anything else' it means you've forgotten something. My examiner said anything else and I out loud went through everything again and said no I can't think of anything. Turns out he was pulling my pisser as I'd said more than I needed too. Got 100% yet the matey who was way better than me in practice got 90 something. Got hgv Mod 4 very soon

Yet mate driving Force Altrincham I'm just working Saturdays with Kingsmill 04.00 start finishing about 12.00 I want to get on full time £30.000 grand a year the lads r clearing £500 a week after tax 45 hours a week look into it pal still jobs available with driving Force doing the same thing as me

Hi deady. Really well presented videos bro. I have a question, hope you can answer. I have 2 days training (16hours) and then the practical test 2 days after. In your opinion, do you believe that’s enough hours to pass the class 2 practical. Also I have 4 hours training for the mod 4 practical. Is that enough to gain a understanding on all the questions I might be asked. Thanks deady.
Yeah thats plenty. I did 16 hours.
The MoD4, they give u the answers to.
The mod 4 is the biggest waste of time, space & money you’ll ever encounter.
You go to test centre, they walk you round the vehicle, give you every answer, then an examiner comes out and asks you the same questions your instructor just has. It really is stupid.

Hello mate, I’ve been watching your vids for quite a while now and they’re all great but I’ve come back to this one as I’ve got my Mod 4 this coming Monday. Hi bud , from the day sent off my provisional, I’ve followed everything you’ve done your about 18months in front I have my class 2 training on the 13th September , I’ve booked my CPC theory . The case studies thing! I’m like confused / baffled about it?! Is it the same as the theory just in a “story “ form I can’t find anything on how to train for it and I’m worrying before I’ve even passed my class 2 test about this CPC theory!! Help please thank you

It means, you've forgot something lol. Just keep talking on and on and on until he says, Thanks that's enough. lol.

Got my module 4 next week. I'm so nervous.
You can’t fail the Mod 4 mate. Unless you are a complete drip. They give you the answers 10 mins before. And i literally mean they say ‘Ok, This question, Say ‘this this & this’ the next question say ‘this this & this’
And there’s no wrong answers... you just keep talking until he says ‘Ok’ hahaha!

Alrite are kid ... I'm looking to do this in a couple of weeks time ... however can I do this truck training in a manual in steady of autos... just in case there's a job that hasn't updated their fleet to automatics? Cheers
You can mate . Most training places will give you option . If you go auto its usually shorter and cheaper . But I would reccomend doing manual . Most lorries still use manual 👍
As Ginger said, You can usually request to do your training in a Manual. I think Red Rose are keeping 2 manuals. 90% of wagons are autos now. Its old tatty firms that have Manuals.

Yeah you can mate, Crazy aynt it lol! I'd hate to jump in a split box wagon after training in an automatic. But it would deffo make the test easier haha!
Only if you passed your car test on an manual if you did both lorry and car test on a automatic you then have to drive a automatic lorry

I was told what questions will I get just before the course so I just had to learn them. Had to do walk around check, check for trafficking\immigrants, explain what will I do after hitting the bridge and what will I do in event of the engine fire. I think Its just waste of money.
I agree mate, Like i said, it's just about remembering the answers, nothing to do with actual knowledge. It's silly!
