It's interesing how Rosalyne and Ei's respective backstories act as parallel for each other. This happened as well between Nahida and Scaramouche's background during the Sumeru Archon quest. Which is a shame in showing how the Inazuma AQ could have been better, and show more side from both sides of the story. + Both lost someone dear to them during the Catlacysm. Ei lost her sister and friends, and Rosalyne lost her lover. + Their pain, grief and loss turned them into a cold person as form of self-defense machanism. + Both destroyed their former selves and morphed their physical bodies into something else. -- Ei leaving her body behind and turning her soul into a sword, and Rosalyne using her Fire Magic to transform herself into an elemental being, the Crimson Witch. + Both used masks or façades to hidr their real names - Ei "became" the distant Raiden Shogun as her stand-in, and Rosalyne became La Signora, 8th of the Fatui Harbinger. + Ei is Lightning ans Rosalyne is Moth. Moth are attracted to light sources, but can quickly get killed by those neon lights. + Both were willing to go any lenght to fullfill their own goals, Ei was for stagnation "Eternity" and La Signora was the Tsaritsa's plan. + Both lost against the Traveller. The difference of their downfall, is that La Signora grew to arrogant after two wins and couldn't accept her defeat, thus causing her death. + While even after being defeated, Ei remained collected, but still accepted her loss like a warrior.
That's why I'm mad at the Inazuma archon quest. Signora's backstory should have gotten its own cutscene, traveler should learn abput it, and have some thoughts because of how similiar they are. Both of them commited attrocities and made mistakes, because they couldn’t deal with loss. Why doesn't it make traveler question if maybe they should be judged by similiar standards?
@@kittythalj9882 honestly her “evilness” is quite tame. It only affected few hundreds on people. Majority of inazumans wasn’t affected directly so people doesn’t really have a reason to hate her. For how many years she has lived, she’s done more good. The quest is still terrible though. For example when thoma was rescued the shogun could’ve easily chased us. She’s shown to literally be able to use those portals to move to places and is literally as fast as lightning. There was barely any feeling of suspense for how scary she is supposed to be
She had one of the most interesting stories in Genshin, & one of the most iconic slap too...paired with her most iconic villain death which didn't happened to Scaramouche & Childe.
I love to listen her story again. The story of hers has something special. I love La Signora and I hope she'll be playable someday. Probably at the end of our journey but I don't mind. She has a lot connections from cataclysm. And surely she knows something. I can't wait for her resurrection.
I do wonder what did the Tsaritsa promise that was so noble Signora herself admired it. A rebellion against the divine, sure, but why is it so noble considering what is required to achieve it. Was she fooled or is there a deeper reason. I hope one day they will animate her history the same way they animated Guizhong's, even if for only an event.
I just realized something. Liyue may be the next Khaneriah. If they don’t rely on the God of Liyue anymore they may become more and more advanced overtime and maybe even become rivals of Sneznaya. And this if they’re technology becomes more advanced the sustainer May strike them down.

Damn, you are right... another reason for Inazuma AQ be too bad, truly lazzy writting and rushed. At leats, Sumeru it's better.

I'm still doing the Inazuma Archon Quest, but since I'm not a great fan of Raiden Shogun/Ei, I think she deserved a bit of pain in her life.
