Good stuff. Your use of a bamboo, is that style driven or preference. Our okinawan style is oak centric. I have found the control of an oak box is harder than bamboo. The size, the bulk, as well as the control of centripetal force is real. I call my bo Storm Breaker. However, I'm getting real heavy into Sai.

Phenomenal bo routines of strikes, blocks and counter strikes, Sensei Ichi. Very impressive and not to mention very similar to our bo routines in Kyokushin Karate. I guess like us that you also have bo katas (forms), in your Tang Soo Do style? I really like your weapons videos, Osu! 🥋👍✌😊Juan.

@@SenseiIchi great sorry for my late response, I have been rather busy with my work and my training. Last week I was away for the weekend, to attend our Kyokushin Karate Summer camp, where two other people, as well as myself, were presented with our third dan black belts and certificates, from Japan. Thus making us fully and officially ranked as Sensei. As for bo katas in Kyokushin Karate, we have three and we call them 'Chuon kata', they follow the similar footwork and patterns, of our first three, unarmed, empty handed katas of Taikyoku sono Ichi, Taikyoku Sono Ni and Taikyoku Sono Ni katas.

    Hi guys
    Love the Bo routine
We have done a bit with it in our TaeKwonDo class
You mention at the beginning of the video that there are up to 9 or 10 moves
Do you have any video to add to this 3 move sequence
    Cheers instructor John

Highlander sword. With Queen playlist to follow. There can be only one.

Hard to pick just one, but if I had to pick one for the Zombie Apocalypse I'd probably go with a Dao(Chinese broadsword)

Love this channel. Watch all the videos. But a pet peeve of mine is why do Korrean stylists call the staff a "Bo"? It is called "Bong" in Korean styles. Also, the word Bo means staff in Japanese, saying Bo Staff is basically saying "Staff Staff".
