The psychology of a murderer is often more terrifying than the crime itself. 🧠

The helicopter was only supposed to be at 200' so they need to know if the aircraft dipped below 200' or if the helicopter rose above 200'. That will tell them who to look more closely at for the purpose of trying to figure out just what happened!

Obviously they both collided at the same altitude , needing to find the exact altimeter is irrelevant but important

Looking east out over the Potomac from the airport. It shows you just how busy the runway is.

This is a terrible tragedy for all involved. I believe Tom Costello was out of line with his questioning today. He should know better in my opinion.

I don't understand why it has taken so long to raise this wreckage and find the remaining bodies that they are allowing to rot under water, which by the way is only about ten feet deep. The army should have had hundreds of people standing by to rotate in and out of the water. The NTSB seems to be more concerned about the mental health of their workers than they are about retrieving these poor civilians that the army killed.

Simple. Weather. Its freezing cold, its not like its summer right now. Safety of the crew comes first.

Seems pretty standard considering the temps and the fact it is in water.

@@ChaosRandomness You mean to tell me the army doesn't have hundreds of trained divers for these types of conditions? It was 51 in DC today so it's not "freezing". They need to get those people back to their loved ones and stop acting like they're diving to the titanic. The wreckage is only in 10 ft deep water. It's sticking out above the surface.
