We should see him as different because he is a clear example of bad breeding and genetics, how many deformed dogs gotta suffer with life/die early before people realise they shouldnt be playing with genetics when they know nothing about them Ffs more snake breeders know what they are doing with genetics and we still get people breeding snakes that always get neurological issues, yet we get dogs from backyard breeders with genetic teeth rot, deformed faces, missing spine vertebrae, and pure bred inbred dogs with genetic cup dysplasia, genetic respiratory issues, genetic spinal issues etc... We need regulation on dog breeding, you cant just breed two dogs based on looks alone, yet this is how most dog breeding is run and its disgusting.

I am sad for the pain that he dealt with and the rejection from his mother- I can relate to that. I am glad he is loved NOW for sure. I truly say that there is no more beautiful dog in the world then him. I wish I could meet him and love on him and say hello. I wish he lived in Texas

I am still raw from her loss. Brodie may have been a distant cousin of hers (Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix). I'm so happy he's found a loving home where he will be spoiled rotten❤️They all deserve that.
Chris, you sound like you would be an absolutely ideal guardian for a special dog or cat, maybe even one like sweet Brodie. I don't mean to intrude but perhaps you should consider it, if possible? I think you would make someone very happy❤️🐾 All the best to you.

He is so precious. I felt horrible seeing him at first because I dont like to see animals suffer but he doesnt seem to suffer he acts like a normal adorable dog 🐶 thank you to these people that didnt judge a book by his cover.
Throughout many years of doing animal rescue & finding good homes for strays, I always ended up keeping the ones considered "too different", especially several kitties born with twisted limbs & other issues. And I'm here to tell you, they were each beautiful babies & just as precious, just as good a pet as any "normal" cat or dog (or bunny). And they were able to lead happy lives. I'm so grateful to this lovely couple for giving beautiful Brodie a happy, loving home.💙🌿💚
I love these special dogs. My imperial shih tzu has a similar problem. Her head is not symmetrical. One eye lower than her other. She is the sweetest and smartest baby. We love her dearly.

Your profile pic is *gorgeous.* We notice differences in ourselves more than others see us as different. I used a wheelchair all the time for a few years. It took me a little while to get used to seeming different than I was. Then I realized that the best people to be around didn't see me all that differently. I also learned that there are more awesome people in the world than I knew. I think you'll find this too (when you're ready.) 💗

Everyone deserves to be in the world. We all deserve to be seen and heard. I try to help make the world a better place so no one feels the safer, better option is to stay inside away from all of it. There is more good than bad, more accepting, non judgmental people than not. But taking that chance is a difficult risk and one I can’t pretend to imagine. Just know there are people out here striving to make a world better who want you to be part of it now but understand your choice.
So sorry about his injury at a young age. Is there any veterinary method to correct or to make it more comfortable for him? It doesn't affect his breathing or eating? He looks healthy & is certainly a smart, fun, great dog!! :)
