The Flooded Forest.
This is a reflection on our experience filming one of the floods in the Baarka earlier in the year in the heat with mosquitoes at our back. We (Rory McLeod and Peter Yates) set out to gather footage for a documentary supporting the idea that rivers are more than their banks. However the realities of life are getting in the way for now. I have a 5 1/2 month old daughter to help look after and to provide for which means I can’t take the risk of working on an un-funded documentary.
For now I just wanted to share this little reflection and the incredible footage that we captured as it didn’t seem fair to keep the video private any more.
