Ah, I remember when I first tried to learn and play this song. This song kept me motivated to keep playing the piano for more songs, as there are really some great songs out there. Yeah, I prefer the sad ones, somehow. Or any of Yiruma's works.
You know, I thought it was the weirdest thing that I’ve found I enjoy playing sad sounding music too. It’s not because I’m sad necessarily, it just takes everything off my mind. Glad to see someone else w/similarities, I don’t feel too weird anymore! Lol

I dedicate this song to my friend who I’ve lost. We were so close and we were
such great friends. He was there for me, he always supported me, and he cared about me
so much. Now that he’s gone I really miss him and this song reminds me of all the
great memories we had together. If I had one more chance, to see him, I would spend
every second with him doing everything I wish we did in the past. When you have a special
someone in your life you don’t really realize how much u need them until their gone. That’s
why every second you spend with them is so important. And looking back at all our memories
together, it breaks my heart. I miss him so much and I want to be with him again. And even
though our bond was so strong he’s in the past now. I cared so much about him and if I ever
got the opportunity to see him again I know exactly what I’d say.

Kiss the rain is a mysterious song, in fact I can feel like a melange of sadness and happiness in the same time, it is just amazing.
When I hear this, I imagine being all grown up playing this, thinking back when I was younger, how simple life was, how slow time seemed to be, the good times with childhood friends, family, and loved ones, living with no worries at all. Don't take life for granted kids, these are the best years of your life, live em well.

There is something in this melody that tells me to stop time. Just for a moment. A yearning for nothing to change and for everything to stay the same. To stop living just for a second or for an eternity, because you can't handle the changing. The different seasons go by, and you get older. It all gets more and more meaningless. Somehow, if I could stop time, I could encapsulate the rain and the longing. This time. The time to kiss the rain.

What a beautiful song.
My childhood cat, 16 years of me having the privilege of growing up with him. He went to sleep a few days ago. Listening to this gorgeous performance of this piece of music is helping me deal with the loss. Whenever I'd come home from school, in pain and lonely because everyone hated me, I'd do something and he'd crawl up beside me or sit on my lap and let me pet him. When he'd purr the world didn't seem so bad. He was my only friend for many years, and now he's gone. I know to some people it's not that much, but it hurts now that he's gone.

This song just brings me memories of my grandpa... he died at 74... I still remember how he cared a lot about me. Every time once a week he came to our house to eat lunch and dinner and the drive to his home. He was the reason I learned to fly an airplane. Thank you for everything my lovely grandpa, fly high.🥺

I dedicate this song to my grandfather who died 2 months ago. It was sudden and unexpected. I didn't realize how important he was to me until he was already gone. This song brings out the happy memories we shared and at the same time the sadness that I will never get to see him again. He was a kind man and always happy. May his soul rest in peace.

I am a beginner pianist and I would love to teach myself this song. As for it is beyond beautiful, satisfactory, and pleasing to the ears. Playing this will reduce the stress I have within me. I hope to be able to find time to learn this song as soon as possible because I would love to learn quite a beautiful piece such as this one that is playing as I’m writing this comment.
I am usually the Classical Music type, but this song has made me think twice. I am listening to this song at almost 1 in the morning while I am very tired and have school in the morning. I’m going through stress about having to move away from my friends pretty soon. This relaxes me beyond imaginary.

I get what you mean but there really is no single true instrument to express emotions. Any instrument is capable of expressing one's emotions. It's up to the musician to truly let them out, though.

But what if we get two?
The first time I heard this song was after giving birth to my 5th baby. We were snuggled up together in the hospital bed, resting and listening to Pandora. This song came on. Now everytime I hear it, that's what I think of. I love it!

Such a beautiful song, it makes my mind at a stage where I have no emotion other then a extremely calming sensation, honestly one of the most beautiful songs I have heard, it brings back so many memories good and bad, but here I am, all stresses have floated away, of course I am not dealing with any problems but for some reason I feel very and very unmotivated , or laziness as I may say, stresses can follow to lack of motivation such as guilt being lazy or even being guilty for things that are small but in my head they seem like a big commotion, my mind can’t handle all the stress so, this has led me to music, thank you for uploading this :)
