The guys who do nothing but complain about coverage, and they drop the day’s best player after his opening tee shot. Disgraceful. Good shootin Randy, wish we could have seen it.
St. Rappeo smiling down on the strapped boys as they blow through their quota at the strapped course! Bring on the pancakes!
Dinner can get away from them - acceptably!
The strapped boys paired with a local caddie getting yelled at by the C Suite paired with the designer about pace of play was performance art.
When did the designer realize he had the bad draw?
One of the best quotes I've heard after a shot. "That's a cop ball. GET ON THE GROUND!" - Neil
“When the green fees go down my game goes up” is an all time line Randy!! 😂
Neil HAS to release the list of his shot names so I can use them with my friends/strangers and convince them that I’m funny. Cop ball is an all-timer.
From the man himself on the Fuge:
Some of the classics:
The F-15 Ball - the Classic Icarito pull cut that starts left and then banks hard across the entire fairway to end up in the right rough. Also known as the Blue Angel Ball or Thunderbird
Rip Hamilton - mid range 58 degree wedge. I never hit full swings with the 58 (i.e. no three pointers like Piston’s guard Rip Hamilton…a ton of mid range jumpers, 1 dribble pull ups, bank shots, etc.)
The Tyler Durden - When I decide pre swing that I’m going to try to nuke the driver…“I want you to hit me as hard as you can.”
Chloroform Ball - the smothered drive or long iron that goes left quick. It’s a Pieman specialty!
Second Serve - A game changer…Just get it in the box baby!
The Castor Ball - An homage to the Metallica Documentary when you hit a high long iron and it rides the wind forever (i.e. riding the lightning). Cheers to Castor!
Cops ball - the ball that’s thinking about running away into trouble, but it’s hard to tell until it lands. You’ll hear a lot of “get on the ground” and ‘stop resisting’ commands while it’s in the air (tough year for the cops ball…it may be retired on camera to avoid getting cancelled…)
The Lars Ball - A stock number. A very very stock 8 iron or 7 iron.
The Nukey Boy - The opposite of the Lars ball. When you try to step on an iron. Never really goes well…
The Billingsly Ball - When The Durden ball works out, sometimes I let out a Friday Night Lights “BILLINGSLY, PARTY AT TAYLORS!!!” while I’m smoking the tires in my brain as a celebration for bombing one…
The Revenant Ball - When a ball is obviously heading for a prehistoric forest that will be left for dead like Leo in the Revenant. It’s usually accompanied by a “GET THE PELTS” call, an homage to the opening scene of the Revenant (this one was coined on Bandon Trails because that place reminds me of the scenery in The Revenant
The Icarito - Anything long left of the green on the fly.
First place Icarito getting bumped from coverage while Hot Dog Soly leaves 30 footers 10 feet short is something you really do hate to see. Did Lance Barrow guest produce this episode?
Real F1 vibes. Showing us the action in the middle of the pack. We know Hamilton is winning, let’s highlight the Perez, Norris, and Gasly chase for points.
Rumors swirling that the Narc called in a favor to the Diner Boys to use slow play to throw off Tron and Soly.
"Talk me through this DJ"
*has the lowest traj on UA-cam*
"I got 6 iron here to cover this 8 foot lip in front of me"
Randy vibing and Neil bringing his game together, but we get a lefty Tron mustache ride instead. Truly the rub of the green
When the Green fees go down Randy's game goes up may be the quote of the year from him hahaha
That Soly club throw was Strapped-visceral and C-suite-privileged all at the same time. Impressive stuff.
“Now down to the 11th hole we have Cameraman Nick. A great player in his own right”
Seeing C-Suite struggle with the course and deal with slow play once and a while made me smile. It's good for the elite to come down from the clouds once and a while.
I FEEL YOU RANDY!!!! "When the green fees go down, my game goes up." We all need a Randy in our golf group.
Wild that NLU’s best golfers are the intern and the cameraman.
😂😂😂
haha. That was BRUTAL! I guess it's always funnier when it's true.
WINNER WINNER
Strapped boys had practically a home game, and IT SHOWED! Well done lads
“When greens fees go down, I be sure to sport an LACC belt as a reminder of my C-Suite roots” -Tron
'When the green fees go down, my game goes up'. Randy is forever strapped.
Soly’s club throw on 12 could be the most vicious tomahawk the Pacific Northwest has seen since Shawn Kemp.
He slams it down with two hands baby, the reeeiiiignmannnnn!!!!! -Kevin Calabro
Binge watching every Oregon episode. So good guys
Grade A club throw by Soly. No hesitation, good form, did not endanger any of his playing partners, club is not lost. Really nice.
Seeing icarito play well fuels the soul
Genuinely...one of the pleasures of following NLU is seeing their game improve. Pure stripe show this season!
Remember in 300 when a small army defends the goat path? That's how I imagine the strapped boys defend local munis
Every year my dad and I travel to Bandon and play the dunes. This is a course we always stop at before we leave; a true hidden gem.
Soly: "Player Three has entered the chat."
Cut to Soly's next shot, vicious club throw
Player one has now left the chat
Big Randy’s narration reminds me of a grandpa telling his grandkids about “all the trees and shrubbery that used to be here instead of this subdivision” and how life was simpler back then.
whatever happens in each episode is spectacular but that opening with big randy walking through the forrest is a scene we'll cherish forever,
“That didn’t cut, did it?”
Sounds like Neil forgot DJ’s #1 rule of playing a fade
Soly, a word to the wise. If you want to throw your club without breaking it, sidearm is the way to go.
Because I'm sure NO ONE on this channel has ever done that! YOU HAVE NO PROOF! haha
These guys have truly become some world class gentleman golfers. Some quality play happening
Getting off to a big lead... bludgeoning his own foot... then thinking about the pain instead of overthinking the 2nd serve.... Neil may be playing chess while the others play checkers.
It’s become blatantly clear between the hoodie and the club throw that Chris has no desire to become Mr Solomon
I get that Soly is a +1, but holy shit he poses more than a Playboy centerfold.
I'd wear the outfit if I could have his game.
I could not agree any more
Randy’s dulcet tones and prose on the intro monologue had me checking if this was an NPR production. All class.
A sniff like Neil put on the glass of red hasn't been seen since 2 hours after the green jacket ceremony this year. Well done sport!
Tough to see the C-suite calling out the Strapped boys for slow playing when they are throwing clubs and chipping over greens. Plus Soly and the Narc looks like statues watching their shots one Mississippi, two Mississippi...
It got close at the end there, Nick giving Randy a good battle for fifth place

This content is just awesome. Love watching Strapped and Tourist Sauce. The Editing is on point! The Best Golf content I have come across.
You can tell Soly doesn't have to worry about purchasing his clubs by the way he threw his iron into the ground.
You're right. No one who purchases golf clubs has ever thrown or slammed a club
@@austinstanton6258 That could afford them.
Let me guess, you use iron covers too right?
@@koenvanderharten5381 Why would I
Might have been mentioned. But stoked you guys hit up the Crossings as well. They do so much for the youth on course scene. Good famaily too.
After all of these are released, can someone supercut these into a 3 hour, full length feature? This is enough to make anyone get romantic with the game of golf, and we need more of this content.
DJ's swing is looking tight, more than just a masterful editor.
DJ framing the precision pro for the cart interviews -chefs kiss-
"don't think he likes it, folks" lol that was great
Soly being pace of play police when Randy is clearly taking in the foliage. Bigger things going on than going for the green in 2!
Randy; if you have your clubs and a spare 4 hours you’ll enjoy the 16 holes we got thru...
Neal's foot isn't the only thing throbbing after watching that episode. What a joy.
These series you guys make are, as Big Randy would say, the chicken soup for my soul.
Soly’s club throw was ridiculously good🤫
Fun playing with friends. Fun too watch
Look, I appreciate Soly saying during the premier that the club throw at 19:55 was a bad look... but I have to disagree. As far as club throws go, it was spectacular.
God, you could feel the stress of maintaining the Refuge seeping into the Dads’ game. The content must be preserved over the needs of the peasantry.
Randy saying Squid is “easy company” and an “energy giver” is the meta, recursive commentary I want to see from the Big Guy. Game recognize game
FInally not on a C-Suite fancy track, the Haas "Cash-Strapped" duo prevail with the slow and steady pace on the medium tyres to allow a much taller Pierre Gasly get his shot at glory! Thanks for the #content boys and good luck in the Playoffs (*Jim Mora voice)
Langdon Farms and Elk Ridge are worth the drive. Two of my faves in the Portland Area
You hate to see it - Soly’s pithy “you hate to see it” being answered with Tron knocking it stiff from a divot.
Great episode as always and cool muni for sure. Only downside was not nearly enough Neil and his storylines on this one. The man has harnessed the shit out of his game, is playing with a tough wound still and is the #1 seed. What does the man have to do to get the props. Hoping he finishes off the overall with a huge W. Anything less and I’m crushed.
nothing would make me happier than DJ making an ACE
Tron should be piped in to Albon’s radio for the race this weekend.
Albon - “These tires have no grip”
TC - “ Hurry the fuck up”
Oh no Soly, incredible sulk mode activated. 'Solee, Angree'
Throughout the year there was never a more telling moment of Tron’s regret playing lefty as the snide “that’s fun chris” as Solly drips in a long birdie putt on 11
When Tron said “that’s fun chris” I felt it in my bones.
Nick looks like how I imagine Spieth would after spending some time on the Appalachian Trail finding himself.
When this video was online earlier, you would say that Tyrell Hatton's club throw at the CJ cup was inspired by Soly.
Slim POTUS we've all been there brother.
Dan liked the place so much, he built it!
After a successful Footgate, it looks like Soly turned to his next victim TC. Got him with the classic lotion for sunscreen swap.
13:30 the "cop ball" "get on the ground!" gave me a chuckle
When the green fees go down, the BAC goes up!
We would all be a + handicap if we had someone like C suite giving us 3 footers like he gives the narc.
Love the tree commentary by Tommy Arbor III
Was hoping for some fireworks, and am glad Tron could provide that out of the bunker on 16!
Saint Rappeo 3:16 from The Book of Yardage: “When thou green fees go down, thou play goes up.”
So does the C-Suite resign or get fired for asking if another NLU member is going to lay up?
Green fees go down, my score goes up. Me too, Randy. Me too.
DJ "What were your qualifications?" Just brutal!!!
Poor Squid, has to watch TC hosel rockets all week; TC pays it forward yelling to hurry up.
The artiste strikes again with the 6 iron from the bunker
Heard a rumour that TC and DJ will make a video giving Randy a "speed of play" lesson next week
Dan seems like an absolute delight, I need him as my good will hunting Sean Maguire type of life Sherpa
Soly tomahawking irons while the strapped boys rip up the true public golf scene is amazingly #OnBrand
Too bad you skipped the two courses in Florence one is a Rees Jones course and the Old course it's a great links. I prefer the Old course it's just plain old fun to play. Also, have you guys done any courses in Central Oregon?
Drunk Icarito looks like Baker Mayfield
Watching Tron's lefty swing is like watching old film of golfers whose tweed sport coats restricted their swings.
He looks like an emaciated Ted Ray
I’m never gonna win the weekly prize because I refuse to watch these new ones until I’m caught up...and I’m only on season 5 lol.
Love all y’all’s vids
That was the Strapped version of piping in bird noise
I can't take it anymore. DJ, man, we gotta know...how bad do you want to be inside Soly?
Big Randy is to golf what David Attenborough is to wildlife documentaries
I thought the bird would get a shout out in the credits
Best golf content out there!
surprised DJ let Big Randy narrate "If you're outside the resort and you have your clubs and you have 4 hours, go play Bandon Crossings" considering the narc was throwing shade at the strapped boys for playing a round in 4:15
Overriding feeling of disappointment when you’re expecting The Nark to hit a gnarly cut onto that green in view at 12:05 a la Big Cat Pebble 2010
There’s death. There’s taxes. And there’s Soly sprinting for a look at a shot that misses the hole by 6 feet. These are the only certain things in life.
Driver - Gap Wedge - 3 hybrid for a minimized pitch mark. The classiest of moves to #RespectTheSuper.
great video once again!
Tron out here looking like Jack from this is us lol
This was a big Bear Grylls episode for me. Had no idea there were so many cameramen in the wild.
