Humanoid Robot - Neck Design

- Here's the humanoid robot neck design that I have at the moment in my humanoid robot. Works reasonably okay, though I'm sure some improvements can be made.
Also, I'm testing bi-directional communication between Raspberry Pi and Arduino. I see the Raspberry Pi as the brain and the Arduino as the actuation/muscles and sensing controller. This is just a simple test of how the two work together, but shows that communication via Serial with an USB cable works.

Very nice fluid motion. Good job fellow robot builder
@Kayden Talon PARANOID ANDROIDS
I want to ask that how much money you have spend for making this robot
Thanks 4 sharing you vid it gave me some ideas for my project too!
Very nice robot
Zombie Bot That’s awesome, great to hear! :D
Great Job keep up the good work.
Wow! Nice work!
I love it, very creative.👍🏼😎🎸
Bro the eyes are just .... kill it
the eyes need web cameras and focusing lenses
Heyy... your videos of designing the humanoid robot is very awesome and helpful for me to startup on my project
One thing I would like to mention here that... if you can reduce the noise of the motors it would be more innovative from your side and patentable
to do this all she has to do is use brushless dc motors with no gearing. They are speed controllable via the h-bridge mosfets. That's what I'm doing on my humanoid robot build
@@artbyrobot1 Do you have any videos on your build?
@@SteveRaynerMakes yeah a playlist of them. I haven't gone far in the build though yet but have some videos of the "so far" progress
You should look into a little bit of servo slowing. It will make everything far more realistic.
am I wrong to think you could use gears and sprockets for more refined movement in the neck?
Tare !
Hey love your vids! How did you go about programming a raspberry pie?
Great work! Are you a Chitra Nakshatra?
Wow!! You are really good at this. Do you have a Patreon?
Thank you! I'm not using Patreon at the moment, but thanks for thinking about that. ;)
I have a problam for making machine structure
Is Arduino and rasberipy enough for a full humanoid robot??
Good point. Well, it is still work-in-progress and I'm updating components as I go :) So for now I have the Arduino for sensing and actuating, and communicating with the Raspberry Pi, where most of the smarts will be. However, for the hands, I already have a lot of sensors - more than the number of analog pins on the Arduino, so I'm currently considering using some smaller Arduino compatible boards for the data collection from the sensors in the hands and sending only changes (interesting data points) to the main boards.
I am sorprised, its no easy to do a humanoide robot, whatever you do your humanoide robot, i am really sorprised.
Not an easy task, but that is the point! It is a real challenge, that pushes me to discover new concepts and think differently ;)
@@paulaslab YEAH, thats right, I think so, I have my own experience too, congratulation Paula, nice to meet you. HI there from Peru.
Are you use watsup?
👏👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🥇🏆🎖
