Check your boost cut or max boost for third gear, you might have it really low
Look at your hondata settings, could be something you overlooked
How in the hell do you remember how that truck goes back together!? 😂
Most people dont, its just trial and error trying to put anything back together
Internet
I’m building a Ratrod off of a S10 chassis. They aren’t really that complicated
because he took apart he knows where 90% was and went
@@amberionik i thought we had the same pic for a sec
One last piece for the civic is the tail lights 😉😂😂
Yes true and a nice exhaust
@@hydrolics5449 he stilp needs white wheels and betyee fitment
And a diffuser
Been saying that forever
Tint the headlights
A man is washing the car with his son.
The son asks, “Dad, can’t you just use a sponge?”
Cursed
Cringe
Check the turbo, one of mine started to cut at higher load when the bearings where going bad.
Doubt If that turbo is bad already ..... 😂
mrsmilesy it is a cheaper setup
The editing you do is so cool. Sublte things like the Civ starting in sync with the beat was so dope. It's the little things man.
It really is and I'm so glad people notice.. like that is stupid but I make sure its dope and I know 90% of people dont even care ahaha
@@RobbieFerreira I really enjoy cinematics s when music and sounds from the camera coincide, it makes me rewatch certain parts
10/10 brother!
@@RobbieFerreira believe we all care we just dont notice it so much until its bad or gone. So keep it up man you rock
I would love to see the some of the cars driven pretty hard someday at a track event or something like that 😁
Paint the doorframes and the railing around the engine bay black ! Will def. make the civic more mint!
Love the project, but its bugging me.
50/50 taillights when?
Red Seats and Calipers would look killer!!

Went to buy a yellow hoodie at 1:02, all sold out in my size and the size above. The support your channel gets is immense. Stay committed.
I just recently bought a Magnaflow exhaust for my Honda Accord, it is so worth the price. The sound is deep and doesn’t get raspy as the rpms rise. I upgraded from a Spec-D tuning exhaust such as the one you have now. Highly recommend a magnaflow!!!
For the exhaust i’m rocking the yonaka motorsport eg exhaust, has a nice deep tone, and it’s not loud at all.
For the spring I have the same setup in my van I didn’t use a spring compressor you just need to attach the knuckle to the control arm put the spring in place then hold it up and attach the upper control arm and use a pry bay to move the spring into place
Because you got the car tuned when it was warmer the tune is made for thinner (or less) air, but now that it’s colder the air is more dense and it’s just hitting boost cut. Raise the boost cut about 1psi higher and you’ll problems will be solved. Itsjusta6 ran into this same issue with meep the purple Miata.
Check your map sensor, map sensor relates boost issues do tend to differ on different gears, not exactly sure why, but it does happen.
I have an old chevy car and the way i got the springs in was by sitting the top of the spring in the frame and then sticking a pry bar between the the control arm and the spring. At the same time i would slowly jack up the control arm. Hope that helps
For your boost problem: check the boost cut in the tune, could be low for some reason. Also try blocking off the bov, it might be opening too early.
Im almost positive it's a ecu issue. Just a simple setting for each gear.
Should make a diffuser for the civic
Definitely not a boost leak obviously because you’re boosting in 1st & 2nd! I’d double check Vac lines! Do you let off at 8 or does it stop at 8?
Thx for making video's man! Every time you upload a video i feel better when there was a rough day. Greatings from the netherlands!
When Robbie uploads everything must stop !!
Love the vlog! Just FYI, you may want to check, regrease all of your caliper guide pins. That might solve your brake wear issue.
jamie stuart definitely guide pins need cleaning and regressing
Yellow or neon green for the calipers. Something bright behind those black wheels. Been there.
Check the brake guide pins are clean and properly lubricated. If not, it could cause the pads to wear unevenly and/or seize it up.
Sounds like boost cut, you'll need to check the whole turbo system, intercooler piping and vacuum lines for actuator and wastegate for leaks
The black engine bay looks so cool . everybody paints them a light color so the engine pops more
Maybe check your boost controler lines. Or the t4 gasket on the downpipe side of the turbo
Rotors beside performance does make the car look waaaay better. Not a huge fan of wide big wings but Jasmine looking really good man!
Theres a boost leak somewhere check all the intercooler clamps and pipes as well as the bov making sure its not leaking there either. Had a similar issue where my car would read boost but just had nothing.
Check that catch can set up again. You just made a boost leak with the manifold. Just vent the crank case pressure on the valve cover or get the fittings for the block, or yolo just do a vtec cylinder head swap. It’s barely a Honda w out vtec
You don’t need the spring compressor just place the spring in place and slowly jack up the lower a-arm and make sure the spring is rotated right in the grove and keep jack it up and it will go in I’ve done it a lot on my 94 GMC Sierra when I put my lift on and re did my whole front end
Literally did the my springs on my truck yesterday. It is definitely a pain. I ended up ditching the spring compressor after it broke loose one time. I got them in with help from 2 of my friends. Never want to do that job again...
Maybe the tuner put on a boost cut for certain weather and now that its colder you might be over boosting but the tune is cutting it of to protect every thing
Please get a ktuned exhaust oval muffler 👍 plus you should paint the rotors yellow 👍 love how the build is coming out I must say 🔥🔥
A car is only as good as its brakes, they look amazing and will defenitly be better!
#CommittedCrew
It's a tune safety fuel and ignition cut for boost it might be getting boost spikes from the colder weather
Boost cut! check your ECU settings. sounds like you have a boost cut or something to do with fuel delivery. good luck
My civic did it, it was tuned with 2-step and it turned out that it was a blown head gasket
Go vibrant muffler or Skunk2 for exhuast
Tell your tuner about the boost cut
It's because the weather is colder than when you got it tuned so the air is denser, could be the ecu making it boost or fuel cut
There might be a boost to lock because you're making too must boost, check the tuning software if there's a option called "limp mode" or anything like that. Most ecus has that option
Since you have black wheels you should paint the calipers either yellow or white. Or even primer gray (which would be a nice memento of when the civ was grey as well)
Yo robbie, whenever you change the seats you should check out "status racing" for their seats, they have fixed back and reclinable, frp and carbon fiber backs and the best part they are FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE so you can change the colors of each part of the seat to match your color scheme
Just in case no one else has mentioned it, drilled rotors have a good chance of stress cracks when you really push them hard. Slotted are better for heat dispersion under heavy use (track or auto-cross). I hope you don't have this issue cuz they look really good!
Check your exhaust back pressures (run with just turbo down pipe on no mufflers or cayt) see if it keeps happening. Too much exhaust restriction will stop your turbo from being able to spool then the turbo becomes a restriction in the intake.
I belive the civic just need a re-tune since "boost season"
Mike Anfernee tru
You could paint the calibers red to match the Honda logo and around doors
I've ran Tanabe exhaust systems since 98, no complaints.
Yellow and blue will be nice combo
Spoon theme
You have boost limita set on to those gears
Slightly sad to hear the blue theme going away :(. But you do you and keep Jasmine going!
yellow brake callipers??
Color matched brakes and clear coat them so they last as long as the yellow
My ek hatchback is doing the same kind of cut all of a sudden out of nowhere. Literally the same thing in every way. I’ve done logs and it’s not a boost cut, it won’t even reach max boost anymore and then cuts out. Can’t wait for you to find out what’s wrong!!
look at spoon sports for the axhaust
Maybe see what boost cut is set to in 3rd through 5th and I’d also check your boost controller
the boost cut is in the tune
You might have a hard cut at just over 8psi and the waste gate isn't quite doing it? Maybe the boost by gear is set SUPER low after 3rd? Could be a lot of stuff. I would just check the settings.
you should sand down and paint the calipers sulfur yellow to match the car. for the seats you should run black with yellow accents. just have subtle accents to the car since the color is so vibrant
Damn the civic is looking proper now 😍
The problem with civic maybe look at the hondata settings when does the boost cut out
Yeah it basically that.
I have literally missed every drop I just always forget to go to the website on the correct date, just to get a jet tag and a window banner. Love the vids Robbie
your boost cut on third gear might be set really low.
Maybe your tune might have to be re done because that seems like some sort of boost cut. So maybe your tune is reading some sort of boost cut in certain gears kinda like "boost by gear" were each gear has a different boost pressure and whenever u hit it, it just stops boosting, idk if what I just said makes sense but it does to me hopefully this helps
Sometimes there is a nipple on the inside brake pad that needs to be lined up with the hole on the caliper piston or it will wear uneven. Like yours did.
I would advise changing brakes one set at a time (fronts or rears) just in case if something is wrong, you don't end up without any brakes at speed when testing.
2.5 inlet vibrant performance muffler ... got one on my k20 swapped eg has a deep tone to it
More hoodies plz... i clicked buy and BOOM sold out at 1:07pm
crazygamer889 I stayed up for the drop dead on and missed them, within 1 minute my size was fully sold out😕😂
The civic looks sooo good Robbie, Have you thought of plasti dipping the wheels white?
Qa1 makes a complete coil over kit for that car. Only have to drill a few holes. Totally worth the money
FINALLY NEW BRAKES!! (And not just some from an intergra...)
Paint brake calipers the same color as the valve cover or just paint them a yellow or black
With RF drawn on them in whatever color
You might have to re tune the ecu.
Also you should paint the calipers yellow! They will look awesome
It’s cold outside I’m guessing and your tune has a limit of boost coded into it. And it was probably tuned during the heat and now that it’s cold your making more boost. Of course I don’t know what I’m talking about half of the time but that is my hypothesis
the boost problem could be air mass sensor or reguletor
On my s10 I just put the spring up in the frame and jacked up the control arm till the ball joint got in the spindle
Seems like your hitting boost cut, Could be a couple different things even a fouled sparkplug but your tuner will know best! Ask him what regulates your boost cut on that tune. Good luck 🖒
getting colder gives you denser air and therefore more boost. probably making a little too much and boost cutting
Them springs in the s10 , can’t you just plop the spring in and out a jack under the control arm? It might not work without the weight of the engine I guess though
My brothers Mazda with a 50mm turbo on it was doing that same thing where it cuts you off and he built a boost controller and tuned it and it quit doing it.
Do you have a boost controller? What kind if you do, do you have boost by gear set up? What kind of WG are you running?
The problem your having is boost cut due to change of season. Due to being more colder air is denser and you get more boost if boost set to 8 and boost cut when go pass 8 it will do the jolt. You most likely just have to get it retuned because change of seasons.
Red brakes always works? Also matches the honda logo on the front
get the yonaka exhaust for the civ
0:53 Damn your clutch clock in the backround is 👌
Alexander Persson he had a video making engine parts into furniture
@@isaacnava9170gotta check that out then🤙
I don't know but maybe play in your turbo could cause that?
If you're changing the seats, you should do red, so it matches your steering wheel, and the door jams.
You should get spoon calipers if you can find them
Keep up the amazing work bro!
DONT STOP ME NOW
CUZ WERE HAVIN A GOOD TIME
DONT STOP ME NOW
YES WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME
DONT WANNA STOP AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Robbie my birthday is December 6th and I missed this merch drop :(, so if you wanna like hook up your boy with some merch and stickers... but for real you are one of my favorite content creators. Stay Committed, much love, and keep it real!
All clear tails would be rad as itd match the front, but they're kinda hard to find.. 50/50 would be second best imo
I just notice the Ls head. When we getting a vtec head on the block????
you need a diffuser the rear end looks flat
Committed Crew Australia boiiiiii
A nice exhaust note for civics would be a 1320 uel header, really nice exhaust note
Notification squad wassup
Paint the cailbers yellow it could use some color around the wheels. It would look great.
