Nailed it. Amber Absolute is definitely my favourite, but there are others like D2Squared Potion and The One Edp that also get quite a bit of use. Ambre Noble by Zara (discontinued) for layering and Guerlain's Heritage Edp for that rustic gentleman's vibe round out my top 5 for the winter months! btw, this is completely unrelated, but have you heard of the brand Triple Aught Design? They are clothing brand with tactical/military aesthetic and focus. The reason I bring it up is because their logo always reminds me of your logo for your username. I always wondered if there was some connection. :)

Definitely love Lutens classic and Persian amber by attar bazaar is a amazing rich golden resinous fragrance,cheap too.
Big into MFK Grand Soir and Hermes Ambre Narguile. Rive D'Ambre and Ambre 114 are also good

Martin Kuhn Bath and Body Works actually makes some good, affordable fragrances. I have Oak for Men and I really enjoy it. I believe it’s quite similar to Mahogany Woods.

Hey Daver, I have a video suggestion. What if you were to build a fragrance collection around this concept: breakdown fragrances by types (eg freshies, gourmands, ouds...) and choose very extreme examples of each. I was thinking this could be called a "far reaching" fragrance collection. Just an idea.

Sooooooooo happy about this !! Ambers are my favourites to wear. Of course I love TF Amber Absolute, Lutens Ambre Sultan and PdE Ambre Russe. Some of my other favourites in niche are Farmacia SS Anunziata Ambra Nera, Rania J Ambre Loup, Profumum Roma Ambra AUrea and Tauer L'air du desert maroccain. I was disappointed by Etro Ambra (too soft) and Dior Ambre Nuit (please don't get mad at me). Some cult ambers I'd love to try or hear you review would be Hermes Ambre Narguilé, MFK Grand Soir, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Ambre Précieux and Goutal Ambre Fetiche ! I'm really looking forward to this serie !!

In Fiore solid perfume in Ambere
I find the new armani stronger with you intensely if layered with most things you can create your own amber fragrances ..I layered with Molton brown Russian leather recently and it smelt like a roja dove
I have real amber like a crystal amber and it smells like turpentine when heated up- makes sense amber in fragrances is a fantasy note as real amber smells nothing like how i imagined amber to smell. If only my crystal smelled like grand soir!

My favorite amber that i have is Serge lutens Ambre sultan. I am dieing to find a bottle of Tom Ford amber absolute. I also loved another master amber that is discontinued now armani prive amber orient. On my list to buy is La Air do desert maroccain

I think a lot of FragComm are mis-applying the word "amber" in their reviews. I hear a lot of "vanilla," but the way you describe it sounds much more appealing. A topic worthy of discussion and understanding, cheers. P.S. When you said you "find it very sexy, especially on ladies," did you mean that you find it sexy on men as well, but most especially on women? If so, have you came out yet to your wife on the bi thing, and most importantly, does Jeremy know?

On a serious note: I have confidence that you could review Jeremy's new frag without too much bias. Any plans on that at all...maybe you can let us know next vid. I am not a fan of freshies (esp calone bombs) but will do some from time to time, if they're not blatant harsh/synthetic headache-inducers. So I, and most people, still want to at least try his "Office" whatever-its-called. Cheers.

my bigger concern is that most reviewers are just going to give it a free pass in order to placate the Jeremy fanboys. I think this is probably the most-likely outcome. I'm predicting the fragrance won't be great. It might be okay. But I think most reviewers will just not criticize its weaknesses for fear of being ridiculed.
Man Amber by Halston is the only amber-based fragrance I have (I think LOL)...so...yeah shoutout to the cheapies haha

Can you recommend somewhere I can buy amber eBay is very confusing is “Egyptian amber perfume oil” amber as in the amber resin? I want to recreate something like jean Paul gaultiers gaultier2 fragrance or something like emporio Armani stronger with you intensely the main notes being amber musk and vanilla I haven’t a clue where to start
if you are looking to create a fragrance with the note of amber, the amber accord is typically made with labdanum and vanilla (with some variation). I haven't looked into creating fragrances, so I honestly don't know where to start, sorry.
Fragrance Bros. The confusing part is that the notes are Amber and vanilla but if the Amber accord already has the vanilla note would that mean that the only 2 notes are Amber and musk not Amber vanilla and musk
@@murphycameron1 it might be a variation on the amber accord. It could use something like benzoin that can smell somewhat like vanilla. Fragrance notes aren't always literal, though.
