Works great for low LOD Trash and Clutter on streets, alleys, sidewalks, basically anywhere people throw trash, or where there'd be rocks and foliage. Can also be used for Decals too I believe, so adding dirt, mud, blood etc to walls and floors is way faster doing it like this and can produce some brilliant looking detailed scenes quickly.
There is a thing that nobody cover, how to make more than one InstanceFoliageActor, when you work on huge forests you would manage areas of thousands of foliages, so you would divide in more than just InstanceFoliageActor0, and then because there is a 0 I guess it would be also 1 2 and so on, it is very powerful if you want to divide also foliage casting shadows and foliage that doesn't to save performance, or to divide grass in one actor and trees in another, I would really know how to use more than one actor, this information is not covered neither in the epic forum, nobody tell about it. By the way thanks a lot for all your knowledge, you are always very deep teaching, I learn from you from UDK 3.5, you are one of the best UE teachers, thank you.

Not certain if this can be done in UE5, but I use to do it back in UE 2013 and it worked really well
I was wondering if this could be done, thanks for sharing!

I wonder how you got Unreal Engine 5 to look a little like Unreal Engine4🤔
Any suggestions to curb foliage demolishing my fps? lol
I would:
Control the Density
Control Cull Distance Min/Max
Create LODs
@@WorldofLevelDesign thanks doesn’t ante cancel out lods? That’s the last question
