Hi Anne…I’m a fairly new subscriber and I truly enjoy watching you create. You make things look so simple and easy. Thank you for taking the time to show us how to make these beautiful pouches. Hugs and blessings, Sharron 🩷🌸🩷
Just made this pouch. I love it even though I had to improvise with my papers as my lunch bag was too big for 81/2x11 papers. It’s my prototype and it looks pretty good 😊 Thank you for the inspiration, this was a great little project!
Fantastic tutorial 😃 You make them so easy to follow. I have lunch bags in my pantry I never use for their intended purpose. Now they have a NEW purpose 😁 God bless you Anne. 💜 Sandy
Glad it was helpful! :) I was in the same situation ... those lunch bag in my kitchen never served their purpose so, they are now in my craft room and in good use! ahah!
Awesome! The one you created was similar to mine or you totally created a different lunch bag journal without knowing how I was doing it exactly? I am just curious ... ;)
Loved making this today soon as I watched your tutorial I grabbed everything needed, & finished mine so I’ll be ready to see how you decorate your beautiful bag journal soon! Thanks for sharing 🥳💕
This is awesome! :) Stay tuned, the decoration of the lunch bag journal should be coming tomorrow (Friday) as I am planning to create the video today :)
Another perfect tutorial Anne. And if I’ve forgotten ~ please forgive me. Thank you for the free digital kit and a huge congratulations on your journey.. as soon as I complete my next project I’d like to create something featuring it on my channel. Im thinking glassine journal. 💜( I have made some like your aunts )
Hello Anne - can you please provide me with the measurements of the lunch bag used in this tutorial before you opened it up? I looked on-line and never knew there were so many different sizes of lunch bags out there to purchase! You mentioned in the tutorial you were using "letter size paper" so I am assuming that is not 8&1/2 X 11 inches paper, but perhaps smaller such as an A5 paper? That may be my issue, as I am looking for a lunch bag that can be used with regular copy paper size and perhaps that is not the size of the paper you used in this tutorial. Thank you very much. Hugs - Lynn
the bags are 5 1/8 x 3 1/8 x 10 5/8 (13x7.9x27 cm) and I used letter size paper to cover it (as I live in Canada so, 8 1/2x11 inches paper). Hope that helps :)
I have an ASMR type suggestion for you. Put the phone right on your mouth. the mic will capture Extreme wind in every word you say and the wind will make your voice sound unique. Great way to bring out your inner child. Unless you want to be professional but this will spice it up further. Can you upload every day?
This was created in the past few years by either Martha Manigross or another UA-camr, which I can’t remember her name, but they are both so very creative. Take care, 🎀 Lily 🎀
Interesting! I did my first pouch like that 1 year ago and I think it was following a video from ShabbyDabbyDoodah and while cleaning my workshop couple of days ago, I found it and thought it was a great project. I am pretty sure almost everyone did a similar pouch over the time. Nothing new under the sun! 😆 I will go see Martha’s channel, I don’t think I know her. Thanks for her name, I love to find new UA-camrs. 😀
The other crafter’s UA-cam name that is one of the original creators of this “clutch junk journal from a lunch bag” is “CreativeCafeGirl”, which they deserve to be given credit for.

The best tip would be to buy a mic first I guess ...
