There is nothing new under the sun and I get annoyed when crafters claim to have created something that has been around for more years than they have been alive. However, you have actually shown me something I have not seen in my 70 years. Congrats!
I love paper bag albums, journals, etc. I have made lots. I've always got my paper bags from Michaels, they sell all different sizes and colours. Now I get them from Dollar Tree. I saw some ribbon like the pretty turquoise piece you had. It was on Temu. They called it burlap ribbon but it was fabric. It was really cheap for 5m rolls.

Amber, a friend and I have been making paper bag books for years, but we've never SEEN one that includes the accordion binding strip you demonstrated! She lives in Canada -- I in Oooklahoma -- and we worked "together" today, making your paper bag journal via cell phone and computer. Your binding method definitely makes your books FAR SUPERIOR to the ones we have made in the last couple of decades. Today's journals are constructed and we are having a blast decorating and filling them! THANK YOU for sharing!!

Love how each of us uses a paper collection differently. I would have fussy cut lots of the large rose designer sheet to create flat embellishments. Love the ease of using this spine design. Thanks for posting this video...much appreciated!
Love this!! Another addition wd be to add tabs or toppers to the pieces in the top-loading pockets: easier to get the goodies out and added visuals and textured yumminess 👍🏼 Thanx for all your videos
Years ago, I used paper bags to make a little Christmas album. A lot of fun. The difference was I had side pockets only, and not pockets at the top. I like the way you did the binding.

I loved this tutorial. Really well explained. The only thing I want to add is the tape runners. If you want it to last more than 2 years don't use tape. Use wet glue on everything.
This is such a wonderful idea! I have a few hundred lunch bags, both brown & white to use up. I have been looking for some new ideas, and this is perfect! It will help me use several in one project. Love it!!! ❤ Thank you!

These would make beautiful Victorian commonplace books with slight tweaking to provide more writing space. Thanks for the inspiration
