Polygon counts depend on what your computer can handle. I recently had to use the decimate modifier to make my sculpt not lag after screwing up with remesh and ending up with 400 000 vertices
@@HazmatPyro do you think 32gb of ram is enough for sculpts like the ones Yan does?
Heeey quick question…actually a couple haha.
When you were sculpting at the beginning how did it look so smooth? What resolution did you use? Also, how did you have such a clean mesh at the end? Did you retopologize the whole thing off camera?
I’m kinda stuck on a project and I don’t know how to keep a clean topology or how to make my sculpt look good, it would be of huge help, thanks!
on 15:30 he used somekind of addon that remeshes a model.

At around 15:31 you can see he uses Quad remesher which is a paid addon that automates retopology.

I'm looking to buy a new tablet monitor. I like your setup. Can you tell me what you are using? Would you recommend it? I'm using a smaller Gaoman tablet monitor, which works, but I need to go bigger for blender.
i really dont thini you need the one he use. Its really really big. You dont need a tablet with the size of a tv. You really dont need a tablet with screen to do good stuff. But if you really want that, you should look for example for the xpen innovator or xpen 15.6, have enough size and enough resolution to be really good. Or you can look for some huion tablets too, the one yan use, is a huion.

So I was thinking of getting your sculpt course, but I am a bit hesitant due to the difference in Blender versions. Since Blender seems to evolve exponentially nowadays. Is your course still relevant or there were some major changes that make it not up-to-date?
If you are afraid of blender versions you can always follow a course using the versions it was created while following it :)
How many hours did it took to make the model?
