I got Tygra for a early birthday present, and I’m satisfied with my figure overall. However, the shoulder on my right side looking directly at it is hard to move it upward. If you look closely in the light, you’ll see that the paint color is off a little compaired to Tygra in the actual tv show. I gave Super 7 a Big 9.0 out of 10! Excellent review thanks for your help on these reviews.
Interesting with my two copies from BBTS, neither one of them hardly have any of that weird gold airbrushing on the abs and butt crack. Under normal lighting, you just can't see it at all. Apparently I got very lucky with getting a few where it was barely applied.
@Chalor wow I ordered two Tygra's I have yet to open either and it's hard to tell through the bubble aka plastic if the air brushing is there or slightly there, I will have a closer look. 😉🙏👍👊
And from Brian Flynn's recent interview with the Fwoosh, absolutely nothing's going to be done about the missing elbow pad. No booster pack. Brian was saying that it didn't get painted by the manufacturer...so they had no clue there's actually no elbow pad to paint. And the Fwoosh guy was too afraid to point that out, let alone mention a slew of other issues like Grune's ToyBiz Legends exposed ball hips. Cause why would you press all the issues that we need addressed when you're getting free figures and interviews?
I really hope that he changes his mind about fixing at least some of the issues with wave 2. I think there could be some easy fixes like having a slip on elbow pad instead of trying to replace the part/arm.
Well, at least both LJN versions of Tygra have the elbow pad missing from the Super 7 version, nice to see all three versions to compare! And sorry your Tygra is not up to par and has so many QC issues!🤔😉🙏👍
@@newcastle6666 Yeah, I was just about to post that this copy isn't an exception to the norm. I've been pre-ordering two of each figure from BBTS, and I still had to turn around and order more from Amazon. Hoping with having four copies of each figure I'll hopefully get one decent one, then have to deal with returning all the rest. At least all the Snowman of Hook Mountain figures turned out almost perfectly...minus that right eye looking slightly off to the right. Oh, and one of mine was missing the little white dot of light glare.
What makes me sad with this figure is the lack of articulations on his arms and legs , they don't even bend to 90 degrees . How the hell we suppose to sit this figure in the Thundertank? He looks more like an statue than a posable action figure .
Well, you know....covid and inflation. And of course problems with the manufacturers. It's never a Brian Flynn problem. And this whole smaller company BS, well every toy company is small compared to Mattel and Hasbro. NECA is a small company, but yet they can produce hand-painted cartoon accurate, super articulated Ninja Turtle figures loaded up at about half the cost. But it's definitely not a greed or burnt bridges scenario with Brian.
Super 7 has terrible quality control and they take forever to produce and ship. Don’t know why people keep giving their money to Super7 for that crap line
Because they're the only company making these figures. It's not like we have another option. But even despite this line could be done better at half the cost by Mattel, Hasbro, NECA, etc., I'm still grateful that A company is making ThunderCats....even if they could technically be 80% better with articulation, paint apps, including all the parts they were supposed to come with.
Super7 has no excuse
What a shame, such potential!
Either way, thanks for the video, 3rd Earth Reviews!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Wave 2 was a huge disappointment. Like you said there was a lot of potential for these figures :(

Very lucky! I think he would look much better without that airbrushing :(

Tiene fallas. Pero también su encanto. La voy a comprar. Muy buen video
Tygra needs to brush his teeth!

One good thing about the Ultimate figures is that they make me really appreciate the LJN toy line :)
@@3rdEarthReviews Ditto for me!
Oh my, that is really disappointing!!! The must have shipped you the first draft of him! LOL! They should really send you a new one at no cost!
No they are all like that. Bad paint apps and joints. Poor quality control across the line and the ripoff prices

I agree. Tygra was the worst.
Such a disappointment, it had so much potential :(
$50 is a ripoff

It came out terrible.
The quality was a disappointment, I was really looking forward to this figure :(
