This pokemon fossil rap cypher features every pokemon fossil from different pokemon generations taking part in a big pokemon rap cypher. This is not my first pokemon cypher as I have done other cypher pokemon rap songs including my eevee pokemon cypher song and the pokemon trainer cypher which is the prequel to the pokemon champion rap cypher. I have also created the pokemon villain cypher and the pokemon rival cypher all leading up to this pokemon professor rap cypher song and recently returning with the legendary pokemon rap cypher part 2. This cypher I took the same approach as my pokemon starter rap cypher, This time, it’s a fossil pokemon rap cypher. Each rapper represents a different type of pokemon fossil. What is your favorite pokemon fossil and did you enjoy this pokemon fossils rap cypher song?
A Fossil (Japanese: 化石 Fossil) is a trace or piece of an organism from the past, such as a skeleton, shell, or leaf, preserved in the earth.
In the Pokémon world, Fossils of prehistoric Pokémon are items which can be revived into living Pokémon using techniques developed by the Devon Corporation and a research laboratory on Cinnabar Island. The two institutions purportedly developed their techniques independently of each other at around the same time. There are also other scientists around the Pokémon world who can revive Fossils using these techniques.
Pokémon revived from Fossils and the evolutions of those Pokémon are called Fossil Pokémon, or fossil Pokémon.

@@Mat4yo well, I picked the Root Fossil in Omega Ruby, but to your and KeetheWeeb’s credit, both of you have extraordinary verses in the cypher. You keep nailing with consistently great verses in Cam’s cyphers, meanwhile Kee’s verse reminds me of one of my personal favorite and most underrated verses in a Cam cypher: Trickywi’s Diantha verse in the Pokémon Champion cypher, with the half-singing, half-rapping style that I honestly appreciate from both verses.

I knew of Cami-Cat’s naturally deep rapping voice in HalaCG’s Ladies of Anime cypher, so I expected something like that, but I’m genuinely impressed that the second half of her Carracosta verse depicted two different tones layered over each other, and I firmly believe both are from her.

So the golden ratio is basically an irrational number that pops up a lot in nature, in flowers, trees…and ammonite shells. In fact, it’s most famously in ammonite shells, like Omastar’s.
And what is the ratio?
One plus the square root of five all over two.
That’s my new favourite few lines in any cypher ever. That’s total and complete genius.
The “gruesome way to go” could also refer to being cut in half. Or, being divided by two. Like the F*CKING RATIO.

@@FranciscoEvans-i3e Aurorus is my favorite Fossil Pokémon, contrary to what you said, and I’m glad my favorite fossil has the best verse; the way Chi-Chi distributed her singing and rapping and work with the provided beat and write relevant lyrics/references really hits home that verse being a 13/10.
(By the way, side note, Trickywi had a much better Diantha verse (which is also heavily underrated if you ask me and has a good successor in this cypher in Keetheweeb’s Cradily verse) than Chi-Chi, and the latter’s my least-favorite verse of the Masters 8 cypher).
McGwire and isthatfr0st surprisingly had good to their verses; the latter’s is slightly better due to its second half, but analyzing these two surprisingly made me like them more than I initially anticipated.

You killed it as Cradily, one of the more suited fossil Pokémon for a woman to perform as given the feminine connotation the word “sea lily” gives off (at least to me). But enough of that, the half-singing, half-rapping style of your verse gives off heavy Trickywi vibes from her Diantha verse in the Champion cypher, one of my personal favorite verses in Cam’s cyphers and a likely underrated verse as far as they go. I thank you for this moment in both of our lives.

It's something easily overlooked but in her guide to d&d she does a similar voice albeit shorter and less intense when covering the tortle race (turtle people) so some of us knew could but it's still unexpected when she pulls it out

Ever since I was a kid I wondered why Kabutops went so hard. I mean, it's based on a Trilobite, those little sea bugs which were just Horseshoe crabs slightly cooler cousins, but someone at gamefreak decided "nah, this thing needs to be like 6 feet tall and have DEATH SCYTHES for arms" It WAS based on a trilobite right? I feel like if it was a Sea Scorpion then it would have claws for hands, not blades
Kabutops isn’t a Trilobite it’s a Horseshoe Crab 🤓
Apparently via Bulbapedia, Kabutops is based on what is known as an Eurypterid. Looking at the fossil, it looks like it has giant claw scythes, but that's about the only notable thing. Other than that it's pretty basic
There are some sea scorpion types like _Megalograptus_ that had kinda similar scythe-like pincers instead of claws. My guess is that Kabutops is sort of a mashup of trilobite, horseshoe crab and sea scorpion instead of being based on one single thing
The point is Kabutops is an amalgamation of several Chelicerates which include Eurypterids, Horseshoe Crabs and modern day Arachnids.
In order to qualify as a Trilobite, Kabuto would need several lines that go across its body like modern day Isopods, but Trilobites were not Chelicerates

This Pokémon rap cypher truly rocked. Cam Steady's verse for Aerodactyl, LEECHY!'s verse for Kabutops, Keetheweeb's verse for Cradily, Mat4yo's verse for Armaldo, PE$O Pete's verse for Tyrantrum, and Chi-Chi's verse for Aurorus are definitely my favorites.
Once again no surprise, Chi Chi went in!

That transition from Archeops to Carracosta before the focus blast hit was just genius.
I know it's not classified as a fossil, but I was really hoping Relicanth would come in at the end and ROAST all the others for actually going extinct. That aside, this cypher was amazing! I'm finna listen to it at least 20 times on repeat.
