People don´t love movies bc they watched them so many times, they watch them so many times bc they love them. Mean Girls is a very iconic movie with almost every line being somewhat iconic and quotable which is incredibly impressive. Maybe it´s just not your brand of humor and that´s fine. It depends If you grew up watching a particular movie or not. Doesn’t really have to do with how many times you seen something in my opinion. Some movies do have to grow on you but it’s rare for TV or movies to grow on people unlike a song or album. Some music sounds better the more you listen to it. I never had that experience with a movie. If I don’t like a movie, I simply don’t like it. It’s movies I’ve seen since childhood that I will never like no matter how many times people try and get me to watch it. This movie was simply iconic for its time and funny.
