The next (and final (allegedly)) track in the Destabilize series! as the "4b" in the title suggests, this is an alternative ending to the "4a" that was [CODE PHANTOM]!
[Spoilers?] In 4a Sweetiebot realises that she'll never be free of the violent corruption deep inside her and decides it's best for the world and her friends to just let her go. In this ending on the other hand...

I adore the duality between the tears and the rage, really formulates a conflicted character not sure what she is anymore. Almost like she is mourning what she was supposed to be, hence her referring to herself as " Already dead". This was phenomenal, excellent music!
If Part 4a is (inner conflict induced) suicide, and Part 4b is (choosing violence) homicide, is Part 4c the (choosing friendship) rebirth? You know like different endings based on choices/actions?
Part 4a Maybe related to Part 4b, which is basically Sweetie Bot's original Programming being reformatted into a weapon for Equestria to use.
Part 4b is what happens when you remove the empathy program in a robot armed to the teeth with powerful weaponry.
Basically: Equestria wanted a weapon, so they corrupted an otherwise benign robot... They ended up getting more than they bargained for.
Keep in mind that each part tells us a story. Part two, L_st-_n-D_ta had the video description reveal that SweetieBot was made a pariah by Equestria for three years and having her blamed for things she did not even do.
At the end of L_st-_n-D_ta, She ended up gunned down by Applebloom, the latter regretting her decision all too late.
Part Three was set inbetween Destabilize and L_st-_n-D_ta, which showed just how much SweetieBot's Empathy Program was holding her back from just ripping apart all hostiles that came her way. Equestria painted her as a monster, but she had too much heart to kill.
That means Part 4a was the deletion of her main Empathy Program... And Part 4b is the end result of their foolish actions. They are now in hiding from a Juggernaut that _THEY_ created, and are getting cut down for what they did.
There's no way you're gonna be able to play this live, everyone in the pit's gonna die in the 20 walls of death before you even get to the first breakdown

Sweetie Bot here is truly a Revenant here, one quote comes to mind: "They've made me a killing machine. Who am I to argue with the programming?".
The song is nicely done: the lyrics are very good, the artwork is astonishing, as well as animation! Another ending to series is also a nice touch.

He was once human but in his robot form, everytime he "dies", he is simply reborn into a new body with all of his memory intact. He can not die basically but still feels pain. It's a Neverending cycle.

In pt4A she accepts that despite being a machine, she recognizes that she is ALIVE.
In this part, pt4B recognizes that she is just a machine.
(or that's what I think 😅)
Part 4A implies the deletion of her Empathy Program, which was the thing that had been holding her back from going on a rampage since the very first song.
Part 4B is the horrifying result of taking away the empathy program from a highly unstable machine fully capable of destroying armies on its own.
And to make matters worst, L_ST-_N-D_TA reveals that Equestria has made a smear campaign that blamed Sweetie Bot for things she didn't even do, likely as a way to recover Sweetie Bot and convert her into a weapon, while Enemy Unknown shows how much the Empathy Program had held back Sweetie Bot from just shredding everyone and everything around her.
This means Part 4B is a result of greed and arrogance meddling with things they do not understand, and all of that backfiring in the worst way.
ok lemme be real for a sec, the Destabilize series (and honestly just all of your work in general) means so much more to me than I can even really properly describe, ever since Destabilize part 1 came out all those years ago. I'll be sad to see this series go if it really is the end, but i look forward to hearing your future work. Thank you so much for all the bangers, Prince. Rock on~

I already commented on how amazing the breakdown for the other Destabilize Pt. 4 is but holy fuck the entire breakdown from 3:26 to 4:47 is actually addicting. Actual ear candy. Genuinely one of the best breakdowns I’ve ever heard. And that’s coming from someone who listens to A LOT of Metalcore. Probably my favorite song you’ve done. Bravo.
While I'm content to have this be the last one... I feel so bad for Sweetie. After all her pain and suffering, I really do feel she deserved a happy ending. She has friends that still love, and care about her, and I hope they convince her that she's not 'better off dead'.

I just discovered the Destabilize saga two weeks ago and have been obsessed, and now this drops!
I feel like you started incorporating more hardcore influences into your metal ever since you did the Electric Callboy covers (or at least I started noticing just now). Hear me out: I love it.
As i have said time and again, I'm here for this track. This scratches an itch i didn't know i had. Fantastic work, this is a banger track that's already on my gym playlist. Here's to all you've done, and all you'll continue to do. Hope to hear more like this and Nemesis in the future.

While I "left" the fandom some time ago, I still return to some creators. This hits right into my metal feelings :D
In both endings sweetie still has doubts over her actions. 4a sweetie bot calls to the world for help even as she lets herself fall apart at the seams. 4b sweetie bot weeps as she accepts her role as a lifeless killing machine. Without a cutie mark or the possibility of one she finds herself without a role in the world, a problem she solves by removing herself or removing the world. In any case she isnt doing it because she wants to, but because she has to.
The showing of the Facility, as well as Fluttershy being a notable member of the Corps working there, heavily implies that the whole reason Sweetie Bot was Hunted down in Ponyville in thefirst song, was because they didn't actually _Fear_ Sweetie Bot... But rather, they actually wanted her _Technology,_ to acquire her autonomous Weapons Systems.
They basically wanted Sweetie Bot to be _Their_ weapon, a Drone Soldier who blindly follows Orders without Question...
...Of Course, without her Empathy, something now corrupted due to her torment, she does not deem anyone in the Facility as "Friend", so she only sees foes.
They got what they wanted... So now they are paying the Price.
This is my favourite song off the album by far. Also love the Cyberpunk references at the end. Keep up the amazing work!

Why does every story or series of sweetie bot a bad ending? It always ends with her dying or killing her friends or killing herself, not once have I seen a good ending.

I mean I was hoping for a happier ending but man the quality is top tier
I like happy endings too. Unfortunately not everything can be happy. I do wish there would at least be a bittersweet ending though.
I can't even imagine where this story could go if it were to continue. Maybe we could get something like “Restabalize” where it expands off of this ending and takes the POV of Scootaloo and Apple Bloom choosing to believe in Sweetie Bot and trying to save her from the violent corruption. (Kinda like an expansion on that small bit in pt. 2)

Destabilize is possibly my favorite song series in the whole fandom.
I like you made the weapons going off match the rhythm of the music. That was really good. Also I liked how it seemed like Sweetie's good side was trying to come back through at points, whenever the green eyes were showing. Maybe it just shows that her good side is still trying to fight back. Or that's all that's left of it. Could be either.

It would not surprise me if Prince made an EP album dedicated to the Destabilize series called "Stabilize" just to screw with everyone and announce another chapter for our favorite cybernetic pony. As I imagine Destabilize has turned into its own little fandom as being one of their most popular song sets, so it can't end here(no matter how hard Prince tries to XD).
