Nobody is complaining about the scale of the crashes. These are unrealistic because the damage models are garbage.
Could’ve done this with the Stenhouse 47 to make it even more realistic

Honestly the crashes in this game aren’t very realistic. When you wreck you spin way too much and all the cars behind you just drive into you.
Waiting for a NASCAR game with realistic looking damage. That would be on point.

@@brobot5691 the damage would be hard to do and the multiplayer status would have to be really low due to lag and other issues but a single player game with realistic damage like BeamNG would be pretty dope.
The damage models in this game are terrible but it's still a fun game to race

I can tolerate that crashes in this game feature little deformation, no demolition, no debris...but they could definitely add more white smoke from tyres in case someone spun...

So realistic how cars literally bounce off the wall like they're in a cannon LMAO. Most of these are realistic it's just the cars literally drive into the wreck, they don't try to avoid it
I imagine most of that is because he doesn't have flags on, so the AI is still trying to race hard during a wreck.
Terrible game. I hate to say it but EA made a game 100x better than this.
@@redneckillinois2030 you can't just base a game off of it's crashes and call it terrible. are the physics the most realistic? No. Does it brand itself as this big bad ultra realistic game? No.
Does it have good racing with decently customizable difficulty and ai? Yes. Although crashes play a big part in nascar and it's history you can't call a game terrible based off crash physics when it has other great things

@@atomicfox4390 nah the racing is pretty fun it has a decent career mode you can fuck around with the ai to get racing you like on every single track I'd give it a 7 out of 10 if it wasn't for the fact ai cars are on rails when you or an ai wreck and the fact cautions come out too quickly meaning you can't do any cool wreck avoidance other than in challenges and online

@@4_14_fan I dont think 704 Games is making the next NASCAR game. If they did it would be Heat 6. Some UA-camrs are talking about "NASCAR 21" Basically explaining the Physics and all that stuff. But if 704 Games makes Heat 6 we know what physics it is 😂

Cars do spin around pretty fast in real life but this game has poor physics so It's pretty unrealistic when a car blows a tire and starts spinning like a chopper blade
@@4_14_fan i liked how in the one clip near the beginning, the car started to lift up off of the ground when it was going towards the inside wall. I thought that was pretty realistic

I'm super confused about damage models for heat 4&5. Are there settings for damage??
I've seen so many reviews/promos where there's ZERO damage to cars shown, and others with damage models. This one has both. I like seeing a damaged cars, btw.

I just wish they would get dale jr. to put his stamp on the NASCAR games. Kinda like madden with football. That why he’d make the NASCAR game as real as possible for us fans. Like I want to see donuts when you rub a car and if you do it to much you’ll cut a tire.crash damage still looks genaric to me. I want to see shit under the car fly out from under the car. More views in the game. Restarts to be more challenging and with more purpose.tire debris the longer you race. A better create a car mode.other drive feedback that makes sense. I’ve ran races where afterward a driver will be like. Man your all over the road! What?? If they put some effort into these games they could be as good if not better then I racing but you gotta try 😂

They released it as a placeholder so they can overhaul the next gen nascar game

Lol these cars appear to be solid steal, a crash at that high of speeds and just puts a small dent in it. I miss the old nascar games where the damage was way more realistic.

I hate that it isn't realisc with the crashes because in nascar 21 they pile up if you hit a car and another car hits another like real life but in heat 5, they never crash, so if you're looking for a nascar game with no pile ups or big crashes this is the game for you. and they all stay spread out.

Nothing "Realistic" about the Heat series cant wait for the new engine and reboot wont be called heat 6 will be called NASCAR 21. They will hopefully have actual realistic crash physics instead of this garbage where a car can go flying like a rocket into the stratosphere
