- FOR SALE: a 1960 DeSoto Adventurer
This car has just undergone a multi restoration of the body, paint, and mechanical. The interior has original seat upholstery, there are a couple of wear spots in the back of the driver's seat. All the chrome on the car has been newly finished. This car is ready for "show" or "go" for only $40,000.00 U.S., or $53,500.00 CDN.
There is also a sister car to this one in mid restoration, also for sale. The body has been finished to primer, engine in pieces, interior removed but not yet restored.

What a majestic piece of art, I love her!💕 Even standing still , you get the sensation of fleetness and power!
So happy to find this post. Learned to drive on a black 55 Firedome and have loved 55 and up DeSotos. Parents passed up chance to buy a 59 ADVENTURER and 61 Black (last one in our community) only to trade our 55 for a 62 Plymouth Belvedere! Ultimate dream cars for me are 61 DeSoto and 61 Imperial LEBARON. Last of Exners fabulous finned fantasies. The see through speedometer is really unique. Believe it was used on 61 DeSoto and 61 Dodge as well
Wow! Beautiful. Exner Excellence!
The stuff my dreams are made of.
Very pretty car, but sadly the DeSoto brand was discontinued only a few months after this was built. Thanks for showing it.
A really beautiful car, and the narration with the video is fantastic.
I have two Desoto Adventures. They're in 1/25th scale though.
I just saw one today. It looked awsome.
Another feature of many Mopars is the often poor fit of the glove box lid and the instrument panel
Este es un auto de ensueño quiero más videos de este modelo por fa
SHARP!
Nice. If it were metallic blue or black I'd definitely be interested.
Beautiful car. Hey, for anyone planning on youtubing a car, ALWAYS open the hood.
Thank you for show this awesome car, the restoration is beautiful it makes the car flawless, please where is the car located?
I knew a dog and rabbit who had one of these babes...
me too wtf 🤨 small world
I always loved DeSotos. It’s too bad that Chrysler Corporation had to discontinue them.
When Plymouth and Dodge got compact cars in 1960, DeSoto didn’t…not in the U.S., anyway. The compact DeSoto Rebel was introduced that year…but not in the US. If it HAD been, the once mighty DeSOTO might still be with us TODAY…then, by the mid ‘60’s , we might’ve seen some really cool DeSOTO MUSCLE CARS!!!
DODGE DIVISION was also responsible for the Death of PLYMOUTH and DeSOTO!!
How much are you selling it for?
how come no one is narrating this? all you can hear is some old man huffing puffing and wheezing.
Brought to you by Pixar's "The Three Little Pigs" Movie. COMING SOON! _(7/2/2022)_
