Removing 4L80E reverse servo without removing valve body

I'm not a transmission expert or anything, I just figured this might help someone else faced with this situation.

I'll try to do this with the Transmission in the truck. Just discovered that there were two bolts undone on the servo cover. Not sure why (bought the truck like that).

Gr8 vid 👍 I have the no reverse issue so was going to order the servo extension. Can I do it from under the truck or will need to drain and drop the trans ?

You can do it from under the truck. Just drop the drain pan.

@@MegaScotty86 there is a transmission pan gasket, and also a metal gasket for the servo.
