Gotta give it to O'Hare for putting signs on everything every step of the way. This city really does its best to make sure people don't get lost. Even so, it helped to see that I'm not the only one that gets scared and feels a little lost even with all the signs in the airport. This helped a lot. And may I also say, I admire sólo females who just throw themselves into unknown situations and just figure it out. I'm the type that studies the entire map of everywhere I'm supposed to go. You're brave!!
Good to hear. Thanks so much for stopping by💞
It helps a lot. Thank you.
If that gum could talk, it would beg for mercy! LOL! CTA is accessible from inside the airport without having to go through the parking garage. From the Baggage Claim area, take the escalator to the lower level and follow the signs to trains to the city/Blue Line. The ‘L’ and ‘train’ are synonymous. ‘L’ refers to elevated since some parts of the ride are elevated above the street. The Blue line which is the only line that runs to/from O’Hare, goes through the subway in the downtown area.
Thank u
You're welcome
This has been a great help. I’m coming to Chicago in April and now I know how to get to my destination.
Thanks for the video i have to figure out time's I'm taking a train from Bloomington IL then to O'Hare
Do you think if I got into Chicago at 12 and had to fly out at 6 that 5 hours in between would be enough to go into downtown eat something and go back via train? Let me know!
Yes, it took me about an hour or more to get there because it was my first time trying to figure it out. You should have enough time. 🙂Safe travels!
No.
thank you for the glimpse of airport to downtown. E
Thanks, I have a 7 hr layover coming up.
Hola. ¿El tren Ventra CTA hasta la ciudad solo se puede coger en la terminal 1 o en el resto también? Saludos.
You have gorgeous hair! Love the messy bun.
So in which floor was it??
The police are not allowed unless reasoning to tell you to stop recording, the CTA allows you to record because of their policy. You are allowed to record anytime in the Chicago Transit Authority system.
I just remember in another state at the subway, they stopped me and held me for questioning. Didn't want a repeat.
The CTA/Blue Line is not a subway. After you get out of O'Hare the train goes up to the surface. Some stops are underground like the O'Hare one.
Great Wenckebach👍🌟
Do they annouce which street theyre stopping at?
I believe so. You can look up on the ceiling at the stops they go to in order.
Yes, there is an automated voice that announces what stop you are at. There is also a screen that shows the stops.
Yu a lifesaver 😂 I’m catching a flight there and then hopping in the greyhound. Yu saving me a money cause Uber is high
So happy you could find this useful! 🤗☺️
thank you.. useful video
Thank you. I appreciate that!
Hi! How long is the ride from O’Hare to Michigan Ave in downtown? Is it relatively safe?
It felt safe, but it might've been about over an hour. Don't remember exactly where I get off.
Ok....here is the deal. You can't go to Michigan Ave from O'Hare. Dearborn, yes. Then you have to walk a few blocks East to Michigan. But on a good day...little less than an hour. Is it safe....Oh yes very. The Blue line from O'Hare into the loop is cool. Blue line to Forest Park on the other hand.... 🙂
Grazie😀
Thank you
No problem. 😉You were trying to catch the train from the airport to Downtown Chicago too?
Thanks for posting a video on everything not to do when traveling in Chicago. Very helpful.
Good
Thank you! You look like a Filipina mix😊
You're welcome. Lol. I have heard that before and saw a few people from there or mixed that I favor.
great video. thank you sweetie
Thanks. I appreciate that. 💞
Thanks for going through the aggravation so that the rest of us don't have to.
Yes, I try to share things that I figured out so it could help somebody else in their travels.
Omgsh please research before traveling to new places. There's too much technology for all this confusion.
I already looked it up, that's how I knew which train I needed.......Still have to find it once you arrive......
