When I hear this song, I always remember the scene when Youji have to kill Neu (brainwashed Asuka) and Neu's last word is "Masafumi, I love you" which pierced Youji's heart even more. I cried every time I watch the episode.
It seems that this song is made for Youji when he misses Asuka.. He feels like alone but too beautiful that she lingers in his heart...
2021 and still listening to this...WK has the best OST and also Genso Maden Saiyuki, underrated... the world needs to listen to these songs. all of them :)
Agreed, even at the anime convention I picked up the albums many didn't know of them which is a shame
