The Strv 74 is definentely one of those tanks that will grab your attention. This comically large turret on a smaller chasis has been a tank I have wanted to do a video on for a while and it was time to properly revist the Swedish Tech Tree. I hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! The dog is slowly healing and getting better but it has been a very slow process on getting her wound to heal. Thanks to all of those who reached out though and inquired about her health. I was curious to get your guy's thoughts on if you would like me to eventually produce shorts content for this channel that is based around short history videos of the vehicles in War Thunder and/or short tips/guide videos for War Thunder?

You could bring back the side chat podcast but in shorts or something, I enjoyed those historic videos about certain planes. And you could add tanks and stuff too, do both short and long form content

They are like a family. Sturmling is the dad that has to keep an eye on the kids, Stickboy is the little brother, Bo is the older brother, and Kuso is like the adopted brother

23:30 Bo you do realise that being bombed in those circumstances would just add to the story line as you would both end together, track to track trying to save the point.
The reason the strv m/42 and 74 were so thin is that they were meant to be able to fit on urban streets, tanks had to be kept under a certain width so they could go through urban areas without hitting anything
The reason i heard was old bridges restricting with, and also a limit on the weight.
It's a standard Strv m/42 chassis, but with a new thin turret and other things.
Plus a new gun based off the Bofors 75 mm Model 1929 AA/Artillery piece.

Hey Bo, I have a game idea, it's called ICBM and it's on Steam, it's basically a game where you fight a nuclear war against AI and/or other people. I just thought the idea of a TBLF nuclear war sounded pretty funny.

When I was grinding out Sweden this little fellow was one of my favorite tanks to use. I quickly spanded and became a terror on hilly maps like mozdok. Def underrated inho.

The first time I tried the Strv 74, it made me feel like if I tilted the vehicle just a little, it could flip over because of the oversized turret.

The problem is that u picked the sabo as your main ammo!
Don't know why this thing is 5.7 tough, when similar tanks like the Comet or the Sherman VC is on a lower BR!
The sabot on the 74 is good enough to be used as the primary. You can play it like a lot of the British armor that have to rely on sabot. Just have to aim for specific things.

It could throw from M2 the tank with more than seven 30 caliber machine guns or it could be the M2A2 with two turrets, one with a 50 caliber machine gun and the other with a 30 caliber machine. It would be interesting and fun, I've been waiting for these tanks for a while now

It was back in 2018 when the American Armored Foundation (AAF) Tank Museum in Danville, Virginia was open. It really was an unusual looking thing. But I’ll be honest, look at half of the Soviet stuff in there, and that thing doesn’t look so bad. Oh well, at least the T26E4 Super Pershing doesn’t look as weird as this does. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Internally screaming Bo keeps using APDS as the main round instead of amazing APHE it has
Russian bias, so here is an example just today i was playing Air AB and came across a BB-1 i dive straight for it flying rounds from a 7MM "machine gun" and wasted my whole mag on him, not even a scratch on the BB-1, i get gunned down by one of his TM, i spawn in another plane and continue the goose chase i end up using my whole mag once more and he just took zero damage i didnt even get a single hit marker, he ended up carrying his team to victory, this game actually sucks when it comes to realism.

I neglect this channel for months at a time. Gets to where I feel something is missing in my life but I can't zero in on what it is... until I return and feel the stress removed like a snake shedding old skin. I mean a normal snake. Not those overhyped cobras and mambas and shit. Those snakes can eat a claymore as far as I'm concerned.

I saw the Strv 74 in the flesh(steel?) when I was visiting Arsenalen. The height really isn't that noticable when standing next to it.
Believe it or not STRV 74 has my most ground rb kills. Guess i like it😊

The thing I hate about this tank is that with how sloped the armor on the turret is, you'd think it would be good at deflecting rounds from straight ahead, but instead almost everything in its BR goes straight through the turret like it's wet tissue paper.
