This is a fan made Campaign created by Heli who is one of the most reputable mod creators in China’s RA2 community, hence the quality of the campaign is at a high level.
The campaign was released in Chinese only but thanks to "3652xxyy", the campaign has been translated to English to make it reachable to a broader audience.

I can't help but wonder if a better strategy would've been spamming Grizzlies and IFVs, and crushing Infantry.
filled Battle Forts are expensive, Mirage Tanks will lose a 1v1 fight against Rhinos and Apocs, Prism Tanks are long ranged glass cannons.

IIRC, it's possible to set up an AND condition for a trigger just by creating a new Event for it.
For an OR condition you'll need seperate triggers for each Event, where each one fires a "master" trigger. This master then executes the intended Action as soon as its enabled (or a secondary Event, like Elapsed Time, is met; that'd have to be set on the master tho).
Imagine if the Nazis were this aggressive when they invade Britian in the 1940s.
Timer that goes up is in introduced in a mental omega mission, specifically the epsilon 24th where you defend the mental omega device.
Well I didn't say first introduced, but yeah.

The map maker actually made us feel that defending this invaded city is futile.
It's like an actual military scenario where retreat is also the best choice if the objective is already achieved.
Yeah, I feel sorry for the defending line of those Allied troops, they did not consider regrouping at the London Fortress.
@@neotimekeeper6592 Imagine the mapper updated this map and actually reveal the fortress and we are to retreat our units towards the fortress and continue the fighting.
That would been another heck of a work but a good one if executed properly.
@@kaivin88 your idea is a good one and makes more sense (even in real-life warfare) to fall back to the Fortress to continue the blockade, instead of holding the outer line with your limited forces!
@@neotimekeeper6592 Not necessarily if the intention only delaying the enemy, IMHO.
Either way, continuing the blockade at London wouldn't have been possible due to constraints on map-size in FA2 and RA2.

To me, this mission has a similar feeling to the "In Utter Darkness" mission in Wings of Liberty, especially since both missions only require you to survive for a certain amount of time, and after surviving for that time, you technically won, but you can continue and try to survive for as long as can against the overwhelming amount of enemies until you eventually fall.
The last 3 minutes are nail-biters!

Great start to a new campaign. Best balance of intensity, fun, and entertainment to watch
Good invasion missions are hard to make but even decent ones like the base game ones are really fun. That last part in particular seems like a much better and interesting version of the final protoss mission in wings of liberty
I already love missions with their own lore and fan missions in general, and I also love invasion missions so this is everything I want in a mission!
The immersion in this mission is really intense! It feels like a final struggle when a crisis is imminent and preparing for retreat. Paired with the mission instructions, it's a very splendid performance!
Honestly this campaign looks really polished, might give it a go

Great mission.
I just built a super defense in the 2nd retreat base and spent nothing in the 1st base. Just a few efforts until the 2nd MCV arrives and moves directly back to the 2nd base.
Then beautiful lines of large cannon with a large number of GI"S and snipers in defense work very well.
I sold at 40 mins because I could hold on indefinitely.

I hate these "sensory overload" missions so much but I'm glad some people enjoy them.

i try it was so hard and fun because I got no new game to play but playing classic game is a good fun for me

And this is why I can't play the Mental Omega campaign. This reminds me of that first level.
Although it does seem to stay out of the player's way in terms of objectives.
Still though, I feel like I'd have a tough time playing this level just like I did with Mental Omega. Because at least the failure condition is what it is.
Nah, Mental Omega A01 is quite easy and it *ends* (has limited amount of enemies)

Yeah but even on Easy I felt like that I was meant to lose but at the same time I felt like that I had to lose in the right way or else it'd be a loss.
Sort of like a bossfight in some video games where you gotta do enough damage to the boss before the defeat cutscene plays and the story continues. And if you don't do enough damage, the boss kills you and you get a Game Over.
@@stylesrjwhile it was an invasion mission, MO's A01 felt more like a desperate defense that succeeded. This was more like In Utter Darkness where you had to defend for a certain amount of time in order to succeed, but you won't be able to push them away.
I wonder what would happen if you lost your army and buildings by the enemy instead of "retreating."

Problem with that "Desperate defence" was that it'd be like "Hey you can build this now! We're giving you access to this now!"
And not show me what units I have access to or where I've suddenly unlocked a new base or that I am building a base and the entire tech tree... in the first level.
Do I get samples of the units or is it that I can build them and not get told how best to use them to face a specific Soviet threat?

I would like to know that in my story mode No game speed adjustment What must I do?🤔🤔
@tsiripas after i finish this mission , when i press continue to load the 2nd mission the game tell me he cannot find the file and the 1st mission replays. Same issue with soviets. I did all the steps in readme file, did it X2 but same result. Can you give an advise guys ?
Can you post your problem at the discord server in the "ask for help" channel? I have some experienced guys there that might be able to help.
I don't understand why you don't garrison units in buildings
Didn't you think that using snipers in the BF was abit overkill when you already have any seals in it? yes i get it for the range but its not neccesary ( its just my opinion )
Yeah it’s not necessary. Just in case.
One thought is that the snipers should clear the soviet infantry before they get into the BF's range. Save the GGIs from wasting rockets on infantry 🤔

This is clearly a different version, there are too few similarities for that to be the case.
At most, it's a spiritual remake.
Nah, I am pretty sure this looks very similar to the first Allied Red Alert 3 mission redone on the RA2 engine. The hospital is in the same spot and the grand cannons as well. The constant waves of soviets feel like it too.

Soviet first misuson in this mod is harder than allies first mission although i play easy mode. Soviet main misispn is defend 4 iron curtains and they are all far apart. If even 1 get destroyed, game over

@@tsiripas did u try focus on sea? If u destroy all transport ship main problem will be infranty and kirov. If nuclear silo are out of map this mission havent end.
@@kurzel1313 there is a huge attack with military navy. I don’t think you can block it.
