Ding may be playing long game and conserving energy/prep etc, I think it’s shortsighted to assume gukesh is going to take the match over. It’s literally tied. With how confident everyone was/is that gukesh is going to dominate ding in this match it’s interesting to me that the rhetoric is still focused on ding playing poorly as opposed to gukesh playing poorly. Definitionally neither player is playing better than the other yet. We could just as easily be pointing out that after four games gukesh should be winning, especially considering ding has had his worst chess year. Asymmetric hyper criticality… just my two cents. Good luck to both players.
How do you say that? Gukesh beat Ding more convincingly than Ding did and the two white games of Ding showed complete lack of prep and risk taking. It's definitely advantage Gukesh, but we will see.
@@manojlds they arent wrong. Nor are they putting Gukesh down. Even magnus has commented this. Ding not playing at peak is somewhat expected, however according to Magnus, even Gukesh isn't showing anything super impressive in these matches. Or rather to say, that these matches are going quite dry for "world championship" matches. Even if we give the benefit of the doubt to Gukesh for the first match, since he was visibly nervous and first WC game was bound to be about dealing with pressure along with the champion. But even for the other two games, Magnus hasn't given any high remark for Gukesh. He was actually rooting for Gukesh. He had straight up said that Ding is out of form and Gukesh is on a roll. The first match will most likely go to Gukesh or be a draw, due to the nerves but Gukesh will bag the championship. So if someone who has straight up made a statement in somewhat favor of Gukesh, is saying that the games are not up to the mark for what he would expect from a world championship match..then there must be some truth to it. However, I personally am rooting for Gukesh. But also, I am rooting for good matches. This is a sports match not a war. The victory is meaningless if the sport is not fun/enjoyable. So I hope both of them continues to give his best and give amazing matches as the score starts get closer to victory.
@@manojldsthe sport and this match doesn’t count how “good” a win is, or how good someone’s prep was, all it counts is wins, losses, and draws. It’s all that matters ultimately. And I see an even score.
Totally agree. People are being too harsh towards Ding. Ding's win was more impressive than Gukesh's. And the accuracy average of the first 4 games is slightly in Ding's favor. I think DIng is smart not to push too hard because he knows Gukesh will push too hard himself and Ding will get chances. The only thing that worries me about Ding is his time management, his play is absolutely on par with Gukesh so far.
Though I'm Indian, I started liking more ding than other Indian player bc2 dong is so down to earth and never act arrogant Indian player should learn from ding this behavior
but gukesh is not arrogant and quite down to earth while quite younger, so i'm at a total loss as to which point you're trying to make, and i'm rooting for ding!
Gukesh looks more muture than Ding lol. Ding still holds hands with mom when walking together as seen in another video. He's cute though, still like a baby
For the most part the questions were really asinine, like numerology, and how Gukesh learned to articulate. What the hell? Do they think these guys are apes, or what?
Gukesh has the controlled emotions great responses for all these questions he is really sincere.🎉
FIDE uploading their conference later than Hikaru reaction video 😅
Even has less views tho
Ding is so sweet😊 its very hard to root against him.
True
He is so scared and plays for draw with white 😂
Gukesh has a very controlled demeanor. He controls himself down to the last detail.
I like both of these players. It's too bad one has to lose.
Bro, Ding have a good memory, bro can literally explain the whole game in a minute. Tomorrow will be more fun
Ding has to step up his game rn. Or Gukesh will most probably overtake him
Thanks for translating!!! 🎉❤
That's a very competitive demonstration of chess play by them. This WCC is really getting very interesting. I'm rooting for Gukesh D. Let's go man🔥
The level of Swag during post game conférences has decreased sharply since Magnus left 😅
Bobby Fischer and Mikhail Tal, great answers 🙂

DIng always smiles when he sees the chinese reporter
"Naka be wilding with his comments." - Ding Chilling 🥶
7:55 what kind of question was that?
😭
Ya, the great Bobby Fischer speaking fact
chess base India got one chance and they asked Gukesh about non chess question. When will they develop
Subjecting the players to these stupid questions is tantamount to abuse.
Lmfao wtf
Everything seems to be okay except these interview sound management😭 The FIDE should look into it, it's Game 4 now!

Gukesh is extremely humble. he is just focused. the fact that he is challenger at the age of 18 in WCC is nothing short of exemplary.

I am Chinese I like gukesh. I think ding dong is a very weak player and does not deserve to be world champion. 🤡
21:01 No board for us 😫
Ding is double the age of Gukesh I just came to know 😮
Ding is 32. Gukesh is 18. Your arithmetic needs a bit of work.
@ its more of a general statement you say without thinking! But yes u r correct.

As perguntas são péssimas 😂
De 10 perguntas, 3 são realmente interessantes.
What is going on with these questions in chinese?
