How to Sew Daisy Blocks for a Blooming Quilt! 🌼 Spring Mystery Quilt 2023 from Laundry Basket Quilts

Welcome to my channel, where I share my passion for quilting and sewing! Today I have a special treat for you: I'm going to show you how to make the gorgeous Daisy blocks from the Spring Mystery Quilt Along 2023 by Laundry Basket Quilts. These blocks are so easy and fun to make, and they look like beautiful flowers in bloom. You won't believe how simple they are!
I'm using some stunning orange-gold fabrics from the Warm Secret Stash bundle and a lovely yellow print from the Lady Tulip collection for my accent fabric. These fabrics are perfect for creating a warm and cozy spring quilt. The Daisy block is actually a nine-patch block, but the way the colors are arranged makes it look like a daisy with petals and a center. I love how scrappy this quilt is going to be with all the different collections I'm using. It's like making a garden with fabric!
To make these blocks, you'll need some glass head pins to keep your seams aligned and accurate. I'll show you how to use them in the video. You'll also need a rotary cutter, a ruler, and a cutting mat. And of course, your sewing machine and iron. You can find all the supplies and measurements on the Laundry Basket Quilts website.
Before we start, I want to apologize for the buzzing sound in this video. I had some technical issues with my camera and microphone, but I fixed them for the following Week 4 video.
