I'm late to comment on this but yet another brilliant review. You really are fantastic with these and anyone who loves 3D must give your channel a look. As a 52 year old movie lover and of 4k and 3D I also thought this movie was good in both formats. I also liked the movie. Thank you yet again.
Hey Joe, thanks so much my friend! Here's a weird coincidence for you: I'm *also* a 52 year old movie lover! You may have even had a similar experience to me with this: The first film I saw at the cinema - or certainly the first that I can remember having seen - was Jaws when I was seven. And, what an incredible treat to have one of greatest films ever made as such an early movie experience. And I increasingly can't help feeling that us children of the late sixties were born at just about the luckiest time since time began ...including the fact that, if we were extra lucky, we were finally able to enjoy high quality 3D movies from the comforts of home! All the best matey.
@@3D_Blu-ray_Bunker Now I've just read your reply and it gave me a few chills here mate. The first film I saw at the cinema was Jaws also. I can remember the experience like it was yesterday. It's one of the best experiences in the cinema I've had along with Jurassic park because we had never seen proper dinosaurs before . I love Jaws and I am waiting for the 4k next week. You are right about the era we were born in old enough to remember some classics from the past and enjoy the greats from our childhood through to 3D/ 4k releases and restorations for home cinema.
Go for it! It's one of those that had me wondering why it generated so much negativity: Of course, that was all from those who would prefer to be negative! (And non 3D fans, of course...)
Hope you don't regret it: It's not really a well-loved film, but I liked it and thought the 3D made it definitely worth a watch for us 3D fans. Cheers.
@@3D_Blu-ray_Bunker Great recommendation. This is an enjoyable film that looks like it was designed to be watched in 3D. Great fun, great 3D. I watched Wreck it Ralph last week which has nice 3D but not as good as Legend of the Sword. I've just received Ralph breaks the Internet from Jp. The review I read was raving about it. From what I've seen it's about the same as the first one but we will see when I get a chance to watch the whole thing:)
Another great review, I didn't realize this was a Guy Ritchie film. Like The Walk, I've had this movie for a while and haven't watched it. I'll probably have to ask my wife permission to watch this. If I watch movies that she likes without her , she get pissy, lol. Peace
Ha ha. I'm told that a lot of women find the star, Charlie Hunnam, quite attractive, but he somehow seems to lack that movie star spark to my eye. Really nice job on the 3D in this one, hope you enjoy it. Cheers.
Since I'm sure you've seen more 3D Blu-ray movies than me, could you possibly tell me a few of your favorites? I just finished The Amazing Spider-Man and you were right. Even though it was Native 3D most of the movie was fairly run of the mill. But, the Action Scenes with Spider-Man fighting The Lizard were stunning at points and very good the rest of the scenes. Im gonna check out The Amazing Spider-Man 2 next and from what I saw in the first few minutes it looks to be awesome 3D! I checked out about 2 minutes of the beginning just to c how it looked.
Hi Anthony. I'm definitely not an expert - there are many, many 3D films that I've not seen. It's a question that I suppose probably ought to take into account how good the film itself is! Of the ones I've looked at on this channel, The Walk and Everest are probably the two that I think of as being both really good films and have great and effective 3D. Most people will usually list Hugo, Life of Pi, Gravity, Avatar, House of Wax - and you can't go wrong with any of those. If it's just about films with really strong 3D, then a lot of people go wild for those NWave animations (Sammy A Turtle's Tale), or some of the crazy-strong 3D in films like Parasite and Comin' At Ya. None of those being great films though, in my opinion! What would you say are your favourites among the ones you've seen?
@@3D_Blu-ray_BunkerCool, Thanks for the info. Like I said I've got 38 titles but Some of the best 3D I have are, - Pacific Rim - Despicable Me 2 & 3 (I have the first one on 4K Blu-ray) - Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Transformers: Age of Extinction (Very Good!) - X- Men: Apocalypse - Black Panther - Doctor Strange - Kong: Skull Island - Avatar - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows - The Lego Movie.
@@anthonyzinna4936 You've got one there I don't have, Teenage Turtles; maybe I should pick up a copy. Of the one's you mention that I've watched, I think Pacific Rim and Doctor Strange were the standout ones for me. I must get around to watching the Transformers films one of these days, I watched the first one years ago and it gave me a headache!

@@joeelse8724 Same here, Jaws is one of my favourite films, hope the 4K disc looks fantastic (although the redesigned cover looks horrible..!).
Sounds like this will be a fun one. With both you and @Tommy Boy 3D recommending it, what can I do but order a copy now.
