Cheers Freddie I've set both my helis, trex 500 electric and 600 nitro to your videos, thank you for uploading these, keep up the good work, cheers from the UK and happy flying
I fly 3-D competition and I love your videos...you are so explainatory...to be honest I have picked up a lot of good advice from you...keep up the good work
hey freddy love your vids very informative. I am trying to program my DX9 for autorotation have you done a video for I looked at Bobby watts but he had a Futaba radio LMK
Thanks, Freddy, I'm not fly barless, I think i found the trouble, it was plastic slider on tail, has ball link in plastic lever, it did not move freely, i freed it up, seems to be workin fine, i hope that was problem, Thanks for your time
wtf! chico i dont see u making any videos to help us newbbies out . chill out ! freddie helped me out ion so many levels. u try to ask hobby shops they either want u to bring it in to charge u and not give u any info. or plan to busy! keep up the good work freddie haters are born every min!
Hi freddy when you set up the radio/ throttle you pull down throttle trim all the way down. When you want to start the engine do you put throttle trim back to centre trim with throttle stick all the way down is this correct many thanks graham
Is that fuel tubing you covered the link rod with? Pretty cool trick, when I saw the pics of your heli I was like "where can I get those links from". Your bids are very informative and straight forward.
I usually set them to the stock setting and then you have to fly and tune as you go. Take in mind fuel type will make a difference, head speed and temp ex. Just remember rich is always safer then lean lol
ok...... the break in only requires like two tanks running really rich, OS engins dont need an extensive break in, after about two tanks start chekin temps and leanin out your needles. also when u set up your throttle linkedge you need to make sure to lower your throttle trim all the way down. that way before you start u raise your throttle trim to idle, then start the heli and fly once you land you then should be at idle, and after your close the trim all the way to cut the motor.
Hey, Freddy, I like your vids, they are very informative, Thanks. I had trouble the other day, Heli was flying normal, then soundly it started bouncing back and forth, side to side, i coudnt control it. the more i tried to control it, the worse it got. one point it was like someone else had control. well crashed it. Any suggestions?
if you want sent me a message on FB messenger with some photos and I can take a look. It sounds like your tubing could be wrong or even the check valve. But I would need to see how you have it setup.
hey freddy ok i got half of tank of breaking in my os 55. it got to cold on my fingers to do full tank i got 2 ?s for u . ihow any tanks do i go thru for breakin. process at idle mode? second when ii pull throttle all the way down engine cuts off. what do i do to keep engine going at lowest stick postion ?
freddie, question.. im assuming the engine wont idle at the shut position.. how do you account for that? do you just trim the throttle servo up until it idles correctly? its on a trex 700 dfc ntro
lol twane200 my man lol thanks for the support but its ok in this hobby everybody has there own way of doing stuff, i understand :) its just a disagreement.
look man your talkin to a guy that builds and teaches about helis for a living lol if my methods did not work i would not be up to my neck is customers and fans. i am not saying those other guys are wrong but at the same time i am saying the way i am explaining to do it absoluty right. If u disagree thats fine but dont foul up my links with your negitive comments please this channel and my vids are for those seeking the right info, not for those lookin to prove they think they know it all.
uuuummmm i am still going to disagree, maybe you r reading the movies info wrong lol. gov or no gov there is really no way to get 100/100 with no binding in almost all cases. the throttle and pitch curves are what need to be set to keep the engine from boggin and keeping up with pitch. i am not saying it can be done but good luck trying, there is no reason why you cant adjust end point to achieve no binding i have done it hundreds of times and have always had a top running heli,
absolutly not lol in almost every case you have to reduce end points to get a proper carb travel at closed mid and full, after u have the right end points you then teach the gov those end points, cant argue with results its never failed me one i have done this many many times my friend, plus every heli and engine will have a diffent mech setup so changin end points is a must, however you do want to adjust links and ball to get as clost to -100/+100 as possible

Hi freddy
Can you explain why the throttle trim has to be all the way down when setting up the throttle? Graham
when you set up this method,do you bind transmitter throttle trim all way down, then once bound return trim to centre to get the motor idling
Is that fuel tubing you covered the link rod with? Pretty cool trick, when I saw the pics of your heli I was like "where can I get those links from". Your bids are very informative and straight forward.
Hi freedy I have a thunder tiger 30 v2 heli do u no what the carb setting should be
I usually set them to the stock setting and then you have to fly and tune as you go. Take in mind fuel type will make a difference, head speed and temp ex. Just remember rich is always safer then lean lol
Great Video. Thanks for the help!

ar u fly barless ? if so turn your gains down and re bind, also re program making sure you dont over look any steps
Hi..why is my os 91 engine pump fuel back to tank instead of going to carb when I use align starter..any idea
