This was so enjoyable and informative! I love your shopfront sketches. They were a perfect way to showcase the palettes! It's wild how much They faded!
Thank you Lindsay! Happy to hear that you enjoyed the video 😊
I would like to see how you would duplicate the other 9 palettes with other name brand watercolor selections since these specific paints are not lightfast. The two palettes you recreated with brand name paints were quite good and very close to your original swatches. I do find the color selections for each of the curated palette groups to be quite pleasing. Thank you for sharing these palette selections.
Oh I might do that in future short videos? There aren’t always dupes.
I was wondering about the lightfastness of these, thanks for doing the test, they are even worse than I thought 😁
Such a good video! Thanks so much for review😀
I have been very curious about these since I first saw them a year or two ago, as the packaging and the colour palettes look so pretty. However I had not seen any reviews of them so I gave it a pass. Thank you for your review, your drawings are beautiful! I also was pleasantly surprised that you did a lightfastness test and also recommendations for similar colours from different brands. Your video was very informative, love it
You are welcome!
Wow, such a cool review! Thank you so much! It's so much work to test them all, but it's the best way to see how they perform. And i really like how you did it!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for showing these colors
Really informative, I was curious when I saw these on aliexpress, it is a pity they are so fugitive. I really love every building you did with them though, they really do all come together in a lovely way.
Glad you like them!
Thanks Alice , A lovely presentation ..... I can see Zhu Huan liking The Garden tour Palette 😉 & Sunset Travel would be good for a Rainy New York scenario for the architecture & abstract figures. left you a 👍🏻.
Glad you like it! Is sunset travel your favourite?
awesome video! thank you!
😃
great summary and demo of all of them! my fave is la provence despite the mutedness. again, loooove the heart rating! 😆😁❤️❤️
Haha it’s just so poetic, right?
Try the granulating colors!
I have them. Lightfast test in progress. 😉

@@EugeniaLoli oh I don’t use Aliexpress.
Oh! Many thanks for this, I wanted to try them.. but they are not lightfast...it is a con for me. thanks for make this video. I love the range if colors, they're so beautiful! But...🤷🏻♀️
You can use them in sketchbooks. 🙂
That's too bad. I was curious about these colors but for what they are they're pretty expensive. Thank you for this comprehensive review
@@beatrixpendragon glad it’s helpful
Love shares and hues, they've been intriguing me for a good bit of last year, but them fading so fast is a big no-no, so I guess, I'd rather try recreating something similar with my Van Gogh's or something 😊
Thank you!
I want all of them 😩 my wallets gonna suffer but some of those colors are so lovely.
😢
Thank you for te review, it's very unformative. I've ordered Hokusai and Sunset travel sets rated 4 and 1, so I get 5 in sum! Perfect!
Have fun!! ❤️
Can i ask what size those pans are? Are they the 0.5 ml or the 1 ml? I can't help myself i have to buy them lol
They are cute aren’t they! I think 0.5ml
@@eurekawanders thank you! I'm gonna order them from ali express 😊
They look so tiny
I got samples. The original tubes are 8ml!
They're supposed to not have all primary colors in one set, that's how you get the look of specific paintings that always used a limited palette. In fact, if you see most illustrators on instagram (e.g. book illustration type), they'd have similar restrictive palettes. It in fact unifies the painting. Using all 3 primaries make it too difficult for the brain to concentrate to it when scrolling on IG fast.
I see. For the artist series they prob sampled the colours from a painting of a particular artist to make a palette.
