This is the ultimate light weight bug-out-bag rifle! Just ordered one with the packaged Vortex glass and muzzle break in 6.5 CM for $1123 shipped, supposedly weighs only 5lbs 9oz total.
...even an 18" barrel adds quite a bit velocity to short action calibers. It would weigh a little bit more but not much to make a difference, at least to me. Even 20" barrel would not add enough weight to make much difference.
Very interested in seeing how accuracy comes up with a trigger tune and waiting (probably a long time lol) for the barrel to cool down between shots. If you were to produce an accuracy olympics video, I could not resist!
Get rid of the plastic bottom hardware. Replace with metal. I have one of the mini in .223 with the cheapest vinyl stocks replaced the bottom with metal and glass bedded it shoots great.!
I’ve have one in 7mm08 gun shoot light out with fiocchi 139 and choice ammunitions 140vld. Absolutely hates all Hornady so far. Mine also doesn’t shoot nearly as well suppressed. We’ll see if we fix that with some hand loads.
@Bullets4Bucks might have to give Howa a call to find out, I mean I understand the idea behind the polymer bottom for saving weight but sure would suck to break your trigger guard out in the field while hunting, sh*t can and will happen as you well know haha
Not true, I own one in 6.5 and it does indeed shoot 1 m.o.a. with the 140-143 gr. Factory ammo. It don't like 120 gr all copper stuff at all. Mounted with talley rings and a 4-12 leupold it weighs 5 pounds 9 oz. It shoots great and is an absolute dream to carry
@@Bullets4Bucks Perhaps you don't understand what I was implying. Your conclusion of accuracy is based on less-than-adequate equipment, therefore erroneous. You have no clue, thus your quip of "send me..." Do better next time.
@fredflorist1682 Son, send me 100 rounds so I can break it in for you and another 60 so I can give you a good sample size of groups. Lol. Your first comment is concerning break-in, spending time with it, and says to start to compare after 100 rounds. I understand that. However, time, resources, and logistics make that difficult. Then I say send ammo that would take care of the expense and give me resource to shoot it. Your response is then about my equipment not being good enough? If you can do better film, edit and post your own video.
@fredflorist1682 it's pretty common that I mention that as a rifle breaks in more, it will probably shoot tighter groups. People are mostly interested in out of the box performance. Most people won't even shoot a hunting rifle 40 rounds. We are testing for fit, feel, and function, not necessarily for the best groups it's capable of.

I’m d like one in the mini action 6 arc
Searched all over last year for it. Finally found one and got at 8pt mule deer at 529yds
Nice! What caliber?
Maybe for such a light gun a muzzle brake would help more than a can (?) nice video!
I like it. I would consider buying one with a 20" barrel. Thanks for the video.

@@Eye_Guard the barrel is 20 inches lol

Review a Bergara B14 Stoke in 22-250. Would it be a good lightweight and accurate coyote rifle? I think that would be a good video.
Sounds like they outsource their action to YKK theres so much sound.
No doubt. I thought the old Ruger American had the monopoly on zipper actions.

Glass bed it!
Clean all the copper and carbon out the barrel then try that again. It would be a nice rugged country gun if it shoot well
What is weight of scope,
What caliber was used in this video?
6.5 cm
Can the bottom plastic be replaced with metal if one wanted to?
On a regular howa 1500 yes but not sure on the Superlite

👍
Not interested to lite more felt recoil harder to control off a bench or bipod Everytime you pull that trigger you will pull the shot.
It's for stalking and hiking miles. Not for the everyday weekend warrior
Your view of the video suggests otherwise
All the ammunition options are lite recoil rounds. You wouldn't have the option of hard hitting rounds.

Mine has a 20 " barrel
I dare you to put it on a scale and see if it actually weighs 4 lbs 3 oz....
Wtf ever happened to their 6mm creedmoors?!? A 6creed in this would be a solid coyote hunting rig
Anyone know if there is a metal magazine and trigger guard upgrade available?
Yes there is, I believe Jefferson outdoor makes it
Anyone getting one in 7mm rum😂?
First time out with it? Don't even regard that for capability of the gun. Start to compare after, say 100 rounds! Break it in, Bud.
Send me 100 rounds
