Glad nothing major was lost, just some wire. I like where you put the tach. I always look for places I can put gauges that won't butcher the dash or cramp your legs.
Thanks! Just some wire and a pair of underwear!
Wow that was close. Good thing you're quick
Didn’t even burn myself!
Lol glad you still have the square body
Me too
Big oops !! Ha !! Nice buddy glad you fixed it ... I would’ve been pissed and ripped it all out ...
I hear ya! But that doesn’t fix anything!
As I mentioned earlier...exactly like when I tried wiring electronic cooling fans on the ole 95 F-150 I-6!
Like I said, Rookie mistake!
Shame you miss filming the smoke it always makes for good content when it's smoking lol glad Dale survived
Haha! I wasn’t worried about filming it but you’re right! Would have made some good stuff!
You got it working good great upgrade
good ol hei made it simple with the tach spot on the cap.
Simple once I realized it was there!
Glad dale is ok.
I’m fine bud! Thanks for asking! 😉
Great video Jason
Awesome video man. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Thanks man
Olde Carr Guy no problem dude. You got a good thing going and i love the videos, if you had merch i would totally buy it just to support the channel and have a cool tshirt 👍🏼
got a small tach like yours that do the job! with my 4L80E running at 65mph at 2000 rpm gas millage is good! got the vibration too..its the pinion angle that i have to check :) keep on the good work (without burning anything loll ) :o)
We’ll get’er all figured out!
ok glad no damage but should have shown where you picked up the tach signal finally
Yeah! I didn’t realize that I hadn’t actually shown it until I was editing! Thanks for watching!
Ouch, lol. Well you still have a truck, with a tach, all good.
Indeed!
Advantage, factory tach cluster
Indeed!
This whole time I was wondering how in the heck could he possibly burn down this truck by just putting a tach in. Then I saw the burnt wire and I was like oh, thats how. Glad Dale is ok though.
Haha! Dale is fine! And working well!
Holy Crap Jason....how long did it take to fix the mistake?
Once I cleared out the melted wire and changed my drawers I had it all fixed up in about 10 minutes!
Oh thats not good with the burnt wires lol we all make mistakes jason its okay bro 👌
Oops!
Yup
👍
Thanks
😮😎
