Went to a car show at Hersey Park in the early/mid 80's, in Mach I think. None of that was there, or oppen anyway. The ride was inside. Still have a Hersey bookmark (think puter) from then. I also use to haul Hersey chocolate in bulk from different factories to warehouses. This was raw chocolate not in product form. The trailer really smelled good once unloaded 😁. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍
Hello Renee. My favorite Hershey’s is with almonds sadly they don’t make them in sugar free but they make regular and Carmel . They also make Reese cup’s. So nice to see the park. Sorry you didn’t get to ride on your favorite ride. I’ve been to the Kellogg’s cereal plant in Battle Creek Michigan. That was fun . We got free 12 packs of cereal and a free toy Sun from Raisin Bran . Fun times.. Take care.🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯
The tour of the Kellogg's plant sounds like it was fun! I remember going on a tour of the actual Crayola factory when I was little. Hope you have a great weekend Verette!
@@verettejones9510 Thank you. Actually, it was a good trip because I learned I never wanted to work at a sewer treatment plant. There is aleays a lesson to learn, even if it stinks like ...well, you know!🥴
Thank u I enjoyed all the pic my parents took when they visited going through there and enjoyed all the tin cans full of jerseys and key change she brought me back I'd love to visit this myself
I’ve never been. My son lives close so the grandkids have gone. They love it. I went to Disneyland after 30 years, didn’t have the same feel at all. I enjoyed seeing your walk of memories.
The park looks like fun. The chocolate is a no from me. I come from Switzerland, nuff said...😃 I really enjoy your videos that end with the old ads so that we can get a feeling of how much the world has changed.
I also saw Hershey sometimes in German supermarkets, but they have to compete very hard with phantastic brands like Toblerone, Ritter Sport, Milka etc. Grüezi in die Schweiz, U.
Swiss chocolate, yum! I visited Lucerne several years ago and remember how nice it was to just sit on a bench, with a freshly made baked good, hot tea, and people watch.
Like so many of the others, I enjoyed a return to Chocolate World. I used to live in Mechanicsburg, PA and we'd go over fairly often, but I'm not one for the parks. Went once and that was more than sufficient. I always loved Chocolate World though. Do you remember the G.I. Joes on the Loading Docks? I always loved them. I'm sure that they are now simply memories. Do they still let you have a tiny candy bar when you leave the ride? Thanks. Lots of fun!
Chocolate World is probably the most vivid memory for me as well, along with riding in the Kissing Tower and enjoying looking out over the park. They now give you a mini Hershey bar when you leave, similar to the minis they have for Halloween.
Hershey's is not that common product here in Germany, but you can find some. I have a store not so far away that only sells US products and there I pick up my favourite Hershey's Syrup Chocolate flavor (but it's expensive). Thank you for the Tour Rénee!
Nice ! I assume that brings back a lot of childhood memories to you, Renée ! I remember my eldest daughter when she spent some months in Shanghai a couple of years ago. Every evening she bought a Hershey bar to get in a good mood. She told me that after she came back to Germany. Have a very relaxing and pleasant weekend, perhaps with some Hershey bars ?! Greets from GER, U.
Great video! When we went a few years ago a lot had changed but we took the trolley tour around Hershey. Learned a lot about the history - that was fun.
Love Hershey bar& Hugs. But still mad at them when they changed the scoring on the milk chocolate bar. Used to be 12 squares(?) now it's 12 rectangles. I hate change. Sorry your favorites were closed. Thanks for video!😉💝
Hi Renee. I have never went to Hershey Park, but I do know that the package of Hershey's Kisses was 18 cent. Thank you so much Renee for sharing this video. I wish I had gone to Hershey Park. God Bless you Renee. Stay safe. Love the video. Maria.💙💙💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😀😀😀😀😭😭😭😭😭👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
I had no idea Hershey park was an actual amusement park. I'm sorry the rides you wanted to go on were closed. Hopefully you still enjoyed your time there. I would have been snacking on the peanut butter cups 😀 Loved the little Halloween ad you threw in the mix, man I wish we could still get candy bars for 19 cents!
What timing. I’m going to Hershey next weekend goin to see dead and company (~);-}. I have great memories of seeing the Grateful Dead in Hershey in late 80s. We had a group of about 15 friends and we all took a dose of lsd and went to the park🤪..ahhh the good ol days 😆.
Well I am Swiss and I ate once when I was in the US one of those Kisses, was like in a pink foil - I was disappointed because I felt like it’s more like a sugar cube with add of chocolate than actually chocolate. I love to eat Reese’s.
I was just there last month and the oven is my favorite as well...along with the free candybar at the end! Lol...years ago maybe 8 i purchased a hershey apron they were on clearance for 5.00! Might be worth something... Good job on the video!
It's probably been at least 50 years since I've been to Hershey Park, except for a concert, and we didn't do the park. Way back when the tour was actually through the manufacturing plant. That has always stayed in my memory bank. Then a few years later they switched to the ride.....and wow even that has changed drastically. Oh well, thanks for the memories, Renee. And now I need a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. And I just happen to have some in stock. LOL.
I wonder if the candy cane one would taste the same as the christmas tree bark/peppermint bark my sister got me a couple years back. I was so thankful the rest of my family doesn't like peppermint, I hogged that whole tin to myself and I was in heaven lol!
The only roller coaster I've ever been on was the Comet at Hershey. Not sure how my friends convinced me to do it! It was closed during this visit though (well, perhaps thankfully!).
@@PaperandMoose there was a girl several rows in front if us that lost her tube top. She had her hands up in the air and I guess it was lose. My friend caught it and tried to give it back, but she stood there screaming.(I think I would have just died on the spot!)
I live in New York so my parents take our family to Hershey park every few years...it's about a five hour drive from where we live. Reeses are my favorite Hershey's candy too! I collect reeses teddy bears. Did they have any in the gift shop?
Renee I remember when taco stacks first told everyone that he recommended to subscribe to your channel. Have you met anyone at the flea market that is just starting a channel or you can recommend as Taco did so we may pay it forward.
I work just a few minutes from the park. It has been a few years since I was at the park, but I go the Giant Center next door to watch Hershey Bears hockey games often.
There is a channel from a very nice gentleman called Auction Life, Taco Stacks has mentioned him before very nice clean videos and his wife is the editor and makes funny comment in the videos.
I loved Hershey Park, 😍♥ lots of fun!
This was so much fun Renee 😄 I ♥️♥️♥️ chocolate 😋🍫
This was so much fun! 😆🙋♀️👍
You’ve added something else to my bucket list! Thank you for your videos!
I can’t believe I’ve never been there, looks like fun 🤩 Thanks Renee for another great video.. love watching them😍😍♥️🔥
Well what a cool place. Glad you got to go down memory lane from your past. 👍🏻👍🏻. ~ Texas

Reece's Pieces was thought to be a flop until the movie "ET" came out, creating a new form of advertising, "Product Placement".

I would think so. I buy a bag during the holiday and keep it in my fridge to have one Kiss every now & then!
Sweetest little town in America, were the street lights are in the shape of Hershey kiss
I love those street lights!
Cadbury dairy milk for me everytime , i tried hershey chocolate in 95 when i visited Boston .
US chocolate is very high in sugar and contains less cocoa and milk than UK.
the last time i was on the ride was right when they were starting to make changes and I belive when they stoped using the song
Great fun watching! Went there for the first time a few years ago. Now I'm dreaming of peanut butter cups!!

Looks like fun but I'm not a chocolate fan especially milk chocolate.
I like to visit Hershey park some time but I live in Kentucky
This isn’t very good advertising for Hershey park when two of your favorite rides are not working.
