I have also used the Mr. Food recipe from a book of his a long time ago for Cake Mix Cookies. It is a versatile recipe! *1 cake mix(any flavor) *2 eggs *1/3-1/2 c. oil **(opt.-chocolate chips, raisins, sprinkles, colored sugars,etc...). Drop by spoonful onto sprayed cookie sheets, and Bake about 7-9 min @ 350 degrees.

I made a cookie similar to those the other day for the first time. I put Rolos candy in the middle of each one. I also rolled the cookie in powdered sugar before baking. The recipe said to cook until they crack on top about 8-10 minutes. I use those cushion air cookie sheets so things take longer. I had to put them back in the oven for a few more minutes. They were a hit.

Do you know what stops the blues, from lack of sunlight ? Bright white light bulbs. Daylight bulbs. Stick one in a lamp. And just glance at it . Often. It really does work.. you can buy them from amazon. Not expensive. They are also energy saving bulbs. I have a couple just stuck in normal lamps. I made some brownie mix cookies but I added about 1 1/2 T instant coffee, 1 t of peppermint extract and then I added crushed candy cane to them so they were little peppermint mocha cookies. AMAZING. The recipe I used called for 1/2 cup of flour not 1/4 cup.

Your brownie cookies were still moist for maybe two reasons, the 3 types of chips will keep it moist and maybe the batter should have had a little extra flour mixed in to the batch.
