The "orchestral" part takes resources, but in general there are insane numbers of musicians putting out music in hundreds or thousands of genres, Shirley more than at any other time in human history. I am just so speechless with how beautiful this music is, like I don't even have a clue what to say..literally the soundtrack to all the beauty of life.
The fusion of orchestra and jazz/funk/pop is inspired. I bet the orchestra enjoyed playing this. Really great orchestra break with some excellent harmonies. This is music for the 21st century. Thank you Louis Cole for your artistry. ❤
I so agree! Not quite jaded senior jazz musician has been in a quandary for years where to direct his energies. What an absolute masterpiece. I want to thank you for continually working on and releasing some of the most unique and incredible pieces of music that exists today. It’s always a great day when new Louis Cole drops!

Galactic tune. David Binney is bending time and reality on this one. The horns swelling at 3:20 really put this into overdrive. Can't wait to get my copy!

Louis Cole thank you so much for doing these shows here in NL. Cannot wait to see you guys again in October!
I love the fact that so many talented musicians all subscribed to bringing Louis' amazingly frenetic and intricate music to life (pun intended 😉) 😍👏🏾🎶❤️🔥
I was checking the first 5 seconds in awe wondering: OMG, is he the original Scary Pockets bassist with his disctinctive head-to-the-rhythm move? Yes, indeed! Killer song, killer band!

Man, I wonder if Louis Cole ever considered scoring a movie. I love the Bernard Hermann soundscape in his orchestral arrangements. Also, I REALLY hope we get a proper track release of "High Five". I've only heard it in the live performance and would love a studio version. Looking forward to the new album!
You don't find much orchestral dance music jazz with surreal lyrics these days. Engaging and mind-blowing with just superb musicianship.
if it takes you 6 words (minimum 4) to describe the thing then obviously you won't find much of it.

Not only is he locked in on everything he plays, but watching him work is like an entire show within itself. Pure magic.

Louis Cole is ultimate fusion music.
The flanging / phasing during the chorus!! It juxtaposes so hard with the orchestral backing ... squirming with delight.
Didn't even notice it explicitly before but you're right, it adds a lot!
